😮😊😊😊😊
Only seeing your post now! Ian Astbury is THE best vocalist I have ever heard! Also the sexiest and most beautiful man I have ever seen 😍 and still is for me! ❤ Ian knows how to entertain the audience! Love this song! He mesmerizes me ❤
Fuck yesss to that sir
Underrated band. I don't understand how somebody can't love their sound...
Underrated how? They were huge in the 80s
Underrated? Dude, they were all over MTV! 😂 And let’s not even talk about Sonic Temple Album. 3 videos were in heavy rotation from that Fire Woman, Edie, Sweet Soul Sister. Celebration Album? Wild Hearted Son and Heart n Soul. These guys were big. Now, we’re they as huge as Guns and Metallica? No. Should they have been? Maybe. However, they got their push. Hell, they were on Gone in 60 seconds soundtrack. Magazine covers etc.Even throughout the 90’s they did good. Ain’t nobody shedding any tears for them.
@@shawnstarks1743 it’s the people who weren’t there who usually leave the “underrated” comment
@@edandaluz8487 lol 😂 Amen to that brother. “The Cult underrated” (eye rolling) Pff yeah right
Loved them since i heard them as an 11yr old!
This is my neighbours favorite song and there is nothing they can do about it
hahaha its midnight and i'm playing along with it , i'm not sure mine are too happy .
Hell Yeah!
Mine too. Lol
@Belam Visinni hahahahahaha
Wish I was your neighbour... We'd have stereo 😉
People in bands like this should never have to grow old.
As long as they keep playing 😁
I agree
Oh, but how quickly it all grows old.
💗
@@GoAway-lj7djthe Cult's music won't ever grow old! Personally for me? I still listen to their albums, yes all 11 of them. They still resonate with me even now ❤😍 I know they are not to everyone's taste, however for me they are and always will be my No.1!
I remember in 89 cruising the country side with my girl in my RX 7 tripping off our faces with this cranking out the Alpine. fucking great times, great music, beautiful girl and not caring a fuck ,how times change
Nice memories
Ian has that awesome unforgettable singing voice. I would even say this was probably their best album.
What album is this
Electric - came out 1987
Electric, best album ever!!!
the bible of Rock n Roll
LOVE,es su mejor album
This proves a great rock song doesn't have to be complicated.
The Cult will always be in my top 10 best bands!
Under 500k? Criminally underrated song.
bingre exactly!!!!🤘🤘🤘
except there is about 30 videos of this song.
Been a rocker for decades, I will be 60 this year. How I EVER missed this band all these years leaves me crazed. AMAZING! I guess better late than never!
You must been living in a cave
I'm 65 and listen this group every day.
They were huge in the 80s. At least here in LA. KROQ played them all the time. I’m 50. So many of the groups of my youth that people said they missed out on. Guess I was spoiled growing up in LA with what was then a great radio station
How u missed them is mind boggling. One of my fave bands , glad u found them 😁
I'm 54 now loved them when I was 17 special place in my heart
Saw these guys with Billy idol. Unbelievable!!
Hollywood Sportatorium, Fl. Electric tour.
😮😮😮😍🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳
Saw them at Milton Keynes Bowl best band of the day.
Who drove? You or Billy?
Me too!!!! Philadelphia Spectrum. Epic night. Pure rock
One of Britain’s greatest bands
The wonders of rock. A song with few chords, a simple structure, and still sounds like a hammer.
That's not the wonders of rock. The wonders of rock is how versatile it can be. So much variation within one genre. Nothing else even comes close. This may be simple but there is plenty of extremely complex rock music, made by some of the greatest musicians to ever live. It goes so far that what are really just subgenres of rock are considered different genres. Punk for instance, is really just a type of rock. Even earlier/softer metal can really come under the branch of rock if you think about it. Take Black Sabbath, they definitely pioneered the metal sound, however, if metal never caught on, they'd be considered rock
@@rowanmelton7643 Nothing even comes close?? Try exploring the classical music canon. From baroque through contemporary classical, it doesn't get any more varied than that.
You nerds think too much. It's rock. Just enjoy it
I never got a bonus, so I came here instead.
Mate, that's fucking hilarious :)
0.5x heartstopper lol
My man!
Hahahaha the bandit brought me here
Me neither.. Now I know at least a snippet of this song is on that "Lil' Devil" slot.
This song, like many others of The Cult was on everydays menu of croatian radio-stations for youth at late 80s, when The Cult was fresh. ... and I was listening at that time ... and still today.
Ian Astbury is a living Legend
This Is ROCK'N'ROLL!!!!!
Exactly
The Cult! Pure Rock n Roll!!
I said it before, and I'll say it again. They ruled the rock and roll World between 1985 and 1990. Repeat. Ruled it!!!
This was my favourite Cult song...with Fire Woman. I was so young then but i still love these songs and The Cult.
Electric was a super hard rock record and the only one i found in my town of them. But when i went to live alone,my sister gave all my things away😡😪
Records too. I did so many sacrifices to buy them and i don't have any record of my loving music now. I'm very angry.
This song is for a special little lady, great work
Ive been crankin this and introducing this since 1986 , The cult was ahead of their time , and we need more now
Heard this song for the first time during my high school years while riding along in an old friend '67 Camaro RS. Cruising down the highway with momentary bouts of hard acceleration, windows rolled down, a powerful engine revving high, exhaust amplifying what's under the hood, wind noise and the heat of a sunny day in Southern California topping off a great memory. The best part: friendship. A friendship that regrettably grew distant.
Fuctard.
CULT RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Such a great band....totally underated
Yeahhh, my favorite songs.
Electric is in the top ten greatest albums of all time. In my humble opinion
Yeah i agree, just love it.
Brother!
Hell Yes it is without a doubt
too bad there are not more artists and songs like this today.......
There are, you just have to search
I remember driving in America in the mid 90's listening to The Cult in my car CD changer Dreamtime, Love, Electric, The Manor sessions, Sonic Temple and Ceremony
Now that is music.Classic !
Christopher Ion HELL YEAH!
Ian astbury one of the most underrated frontman of all time!! plays the tambourine like it's a Gibson Les Paul... has a very unique voice with a shitload of range, every album sounds different than the previous one... and they are against mainstream music and especially the piece of shit rock and roll Hall of Fame.. one of the coolest 100% rock and roll bands of all time and let's not forget Billy Duffy on the guitar..
Totally agree with you. One of my favorite bands of all time.
@@hectormerida1774 right on brother👍
Ian and Michael Hutchence (INXS)...underrated AF.
Billy Duffy and Geordie from Killing Joke both use similar hollowbody guitars, though Geordie loves his distortion & "goo" as he so eloquently calls it. Billy makes sing in solos...
Both are absolutely incredible.
I can still imagine Astbury and Michael Hutchence painting the town red with their antics back in the 80's...both great bands and frontmen...you don't get them like that now..
There is a funny story Micheal Hutchence himself told about a time he and Astbury were in his hotel room and managed taking the bathroom door and throwing it out the window, where it landed on top of a restaurant.
Where has this been all my life , they got a great sound.
You must check out their Love, Electric, and Sonic Temple albums. Cult's three best albums. They ruled the rock and roll World from 1985 to 1990 with these albums.
This was a great song!👌
This was done when they were in Indianapolis for a concert and filmed arount my little town of Coatesville, Indiana!
What a great song!

Livin' in a shack in a one-horse town
Trying to get to heaven 'fore the sun goin' down
Lizard in a bottle, yeah
Dizzy in a haze for 40 days
Hey there, little devil
Come on little devil
Be my little angel
Come on little devil
Be my, yeah, angel, ow
Oh, she came on with an alligator smile
Dynamite lover, scorpion child
Trying to get to heaven 'fore the sun goes down, yeah
She came on with a cyclone kiss
Hey there baby, you don't never miss
Lizard in a bottle, oh yeah
Come on little devil
Be my little angel
Come on little devil
Be my little angel, angel

Sve dobre stvari znaš. I , kad ćeš da me poslušaš u vezi posla!? 🎶🌍🎶
This video was filmed in Stilesville, Indiana when they were on tour opening for Billy Idol in 1987.
Shit! With due respect to Billy Idol, but he should be opening for these dudes. They're one of the best bands ever. I totally missed them in the 80s, don't know why. They just didn't show up on my radar.
They played quite often in Indiana in the 1980's- they played at a legendary theater The Rivoli in Indianapolis during the "Love" era with the Divinyls. The next year, they opened for Billy Idol during Electric. The two years later, during Sonic Temple, they opened for Metallica. On another tour Guns n Roses ( originally from Indiana) opened up for them.
I don't think they got on very well... check out The Cult's B-Side "Messin' Up the Blues".
Great fact bro 👌

This song was supposed to be used on Los Santos Rock Radio in the GTA 5 game, but it was removed during development.
Brilliant, as per.
