As with most comic book characters, there are often re-imaginations and different versions to a character's past. We have chosen primarily to follow the storyline which unfolded in 1968's Iron Man #1 and #8 and was expanded upon in 1969's Iron Man #17-18.

Whitney Frost was a villain Big M, leader of Maggia.
She was introduced for the first time in Tales of Suspense 97, in that issue, she was called Big M and her face is on shadows. She appears as Whitney Frost in Tales of Suspense 98 (She was named in Ironman 1, however).
Then she appears again, in Ironman 17, in that issue onward, she appears in her Madame Masque persona. In Ironman 17 she is Midas's ally, but in Ironman #19 she has a change of heart and turned on Midas. Curiously, in her Madame Masque persona is a lot least evil than her Big M persona.

Tony was a real G how he handled his issue with Frost in the animated series, hardly see this in real life, BUT at least it made the back story more interesting, she's probably my fiance's favorite supervillian so far next to Killer Frost and Deathstroke

Now I strongly think that two characters should be introduced into the (MARVEL Entertainment Universe) somewhere down the line someday; First off, since there is a chance that the timeline of the (AVENGERS) might of changed then the character known as Tony Stark’s younger brother should be introduced into the IronMan movies, and to add the female villain known as (Madam Masque) should be introduced into the movies franchises of both (IRONMAN)movies & the (AVENGERS) movies.

Its plot tells a story about a kindhearted, beautiful and free-spirited black-haired and tan-skinned Gypsy girl named Fauna Wallflower who works as a streetwise street dancer and lives as a female bell ringer at Notre-Dame in 1482 century Paris, France. She discovers a magic gold metal faceplate which she puts on her face so that she speaks in a sweet and gentle soft voice through her gold metal faceplate's lips and turns her real face and ears gold, puts on some clothes. While several criminals and circus thieves are causing trouble, and robbing the crown jewels, she becomes a heroic young heroine so that she could help save the day.

Feel like it's a missed opportunity not to have her in the MCU. The villains in the Iron Man movies were pretty weak and could have used some actual connection to Tony to shake things up.

I think the reason why the cartoon didn’t show her face was so that her disfigurement would remain more subjective to the viewer. If someone watching has some kind of insecurity about how they look, they can sort of imagine that onto her, and thus relate to her character more. It honestly works, in my opinion.
