Just south of Tokyo, on the Izu peninsula, the earliest cherry blossom trees can be found. This is a special variety of sakura known as Kawazu Sakura. It typically reaches full bloom in mid to late February, well before anywhere else in Japan. The flowers of Kawazu Sakura are more of a bright pink color compared to the pale white flowers found on most cherry blossom trees in Japan.

I just brought my mom and dad one of these cherry trees to put in their yard as a 35th anniversary gift. It reaches it's highest bloom on their anniversary day. This is such a beautiful and breathtaking tree, I hope they love it.

I am from nagaland india,, during the second world War, during the battle of kohima 1946 ,, between Japan and british,,, the Japanese donated a lot of Jerry blossoms to our naga people,, till this day we have this plant... We love the blossoms 🙏🙏✌😁😁😁
Had a picnic under the falling blossoms in an Osaka park. Everyone was softly sitting on blankets not clomping around. It was one of my top five moments there. The other years were beautiful but something about that time…I felt like I was in an old painting.

Every time I look at Japan, it doesn't matter what time of year it is, I ask myself how is this place real? For me, it doesn't matter what I look at, every part of Japan is beautiful. I have never been there and it's my number one place that I want to visit.
