  • Casino silver strikes can indeed have a place in a silver stack, depending on your goals as a collector or investor. In this video we consider we will discuss the factors to consider.
Casino silver gaming tokens often feature unique designs and themes related to the casino or special events, making them interesting collectibles.
Some casino strikes are produced in limited quantities, which can add to their collectability and potential value over time.
Silver Content: The intrinsic value of a silver strike is determined by its silver content. Most casino strikes are .999 fine silver, but it's essential to verify this for each piece.
Size and Weight: Silver strikes usually come in various sizes. Ensure you know the exact weight and purity to assess its intrinsic value.
Market Demand: The demand for casino silver strikes can vary. Some may have higher demand among collectors, while others might be harder to sell.
Ease of Sale: Standard silver bullion coins and bars are generally easier to sell quickly compared to niche collectibles like casino strikes. However, if you find the right market or collector, they can still be a valuable part of your stack.
Aesthetic Appeal: If you enjoy the designs and the story behind each piece, collecting casino silver strikes can be a fulfilling hobby.
Diversification: Adding variety to your silver stack with different types of silver items, including casino strikes, can make your collection more interesting.
Authenticity: Always verify the authenticity of casino silver strikes, as there can be counterfeits in the market.
In summary, while casino silver strikes may not be the first choice for pure silver investors, they can be a valuable and enjoyable addition to a silver stack for those who appreciate their unique designs and collectability.

I tried my hundred or so on a ping test.
About half rang out like silver and the other half sound dead as door nail. I was thinking they were fake. Now I'm more lost. I just want to know the value ?

It is surprising with that brass ring around them that any of them rang out like silver with a ping test. It seems like that brass ring would interfere with and totally change the sound making it not sound like silver at all.

@@rickeydonn I agree, I think that brass ring will prevent these tokens from sounding like plain or pure silver coin or rounds. I have never tried a ping test with them though. Paul, do you know the ages of the strikes you have? Have you looked up the casino silver strikes on ebay and searched out those matching the ones you have? It is a bit tricky to look them up in ebay as one would think they will be listed under: Coins & Paper Money, but they are not. Under All Categories click on Collectibles and Search, then on list on left side of page find and click on Casino, then from the new list on left go down and click on Strikes, at this moment there are 2,394 active listings for silver strikes. There also will be some strikes (much lower # of listings) listed under Collectibles, Casino and then Tokens. Are you strikes from all over the U.S.? or pretty much from Nevada?
