The issue is particular to Vipers. The stamp out during the molding process has incorrect dimensions/placement leading it to sit too low on many devices. Cleaning the port every now and then is good for most of these mice, but this short is an example of the manufacturing defect.
I recommend using a heat gun if you plan to buy these exact options, they aren't that good. I just bought them to cover up the worn down plastic since I've used this mouse for 3 years at this point. The white tape is a vinyl that doesn't offer enhanced grip, just looks cool. I've used these for 6 months and the side button vinyl has peeled off from wear, and the side grips occasionally try to peel off as well. my razer basilisk ultimate has this problem. ive tried leaving it overnight. razer synapse shows its charging but it stays at zero. ive tried every charging method and still nothing. any tips?
If you're leaving it on overnight, it's probably best to just plug it in. The cable on the dock unplugs, and will plug into your mouse to charge it, and make it wired. Better to do that than gamble on using the dock.
@@blaux some people need to get real with themselves and realise that the fix is not going to last forever. Once you do this you are going to have problems again in the near future. You get the new tech for example v3 pro and you are set for next 2,3 years etc
mine doesn't charge even by using the cable directly to charge it
Razer needs to do something about they're mice

They need to do something about all their products in general. Great to use but poor quality on every product I've ever bought from them.

imagine having a wireless mouse
Its one of the best mouses out there, with all it's faults
For me it’s more comfortable using wireless, the only annoyance is having to charge it and razer needs to fix their sync with their RGB products.
just buy v3 pro
Some people don't like to buy a solution to a problem they already bought.
