Good choice on those tools, there are a lot more but to start off with these are the top. Good job ! Have a blessed day !
Appreciate that Phillip. Yeah there's a ton of other tools but this was a basic list of tools when someone is entering the apartment industry. Glad you enjoyed the list. Thanks for watching & have a blessed day as well. 👍
Ive worked maintenance in a large stage theater and now Im starting maintenance in an apartment company. This really helped me narrow down what I do and dont need to buy and made me feel a bit more confident on not knowing how or what I'll need to succeed at the job. Ive used all of these (minus the multimeter as I wasnt our HVAC/ Electrician persons) but its good to know I still have time to buy things like the multimeter later because theyre pricey. Im confident using all the other tools youve highlighted for the most part, thank you!
No problem! Glad the video helped you. Good luck with your job & if you have any questions just ask. Thanks for watching QuantumCairo & subscribe to the channel 👍
Awesome list. Your channel has lots of knowledge my friend
Thanks for watching MM 🛠️👍
Good post. I use most all of these but I need a hammer too. Tks
@@TheRroberson123 Appreciate that. I agree everyone should have a hammer, but I thought to myself it wasn't a tool I use everyday or every week for that matter, like these other tools listed. Thanks for watching & help support the channel by subscribing 🛠️👍
good list love the vids keep em coming you are the best for doing these!
Appreciate that! Plenty more videos to come. Thanks for watching Mr Yuk 🛠️👍
I just started as a maintenance technician for my school district. I've had years of construction but that's different in a way. This video helps me figure out what I need for my job. I know I don't need a framing hammer for certain jobs. You've listed very great tools for basic jobs. I've added and subtracted things in the last month to my tool bag. Awesome video
Glad the video helped out! Thanks for watching Mark & make sure you subscribe to the channel 👍
This is a good list for homeowners also.
Agree 100% with you. Thanks for watching Barneyco47 & subscribe to the channel 👍
I did apt maintenance for two years and what's funny is back then I had fair knowledge but not many tools. I look back on it and wonder how I managed without a few of these. Good list. That putty knife is almost like a multitool how often it can be used -- I also used one of those caulk removal tools with the plastic scraper, metal round scraper/remover and rubber triangle spreader in many ways not suggested by the manufacturer! I'd say this list will handle 95% of the typical work orders. A couple other suggestions would be a good pair of gloves (and maybe nitrile gloves for those more disgusting jobs) plus a hammer and/or rubber mallet for percussive maintenance.
Great ideas & yes those are must have's as well. Hopefully the property provides nitrile gloves, other gloves & anything else like that. The hammer is definitely a must but I wouldn't put it in my top 10 of tools to get started or top 10 tools I use on a daily basis. Appreciate the input & I like when others add their ideas & thoughts. Thanks for watching Readheadliner & help support the channel by subscribing 🛠️👍
@@ApartmentMaintenance they should but they weren’t always quick on the stock lol so I’d keep some nitrile gloves of my own around. Never was issued regular work gloves, had to buy my own when I worked there.
@@Redheadliner Yeah I would say some companies aren't good. When you work for a company like that, who isn't concerned about employee safety then it's time to find somewhere else to work.
Good list for the new guys and gals. Keep the videos coming bro
I thought so myself lol. Anything u would add to the list that I might have missed?
@@ApartmentMaintenance I was going to say a knife but u said that in the text in the video. Nice job man
Pipe wrenches for heavy duty plumbing stuff other than channellocks.
Great suggestion! Thanks for watching Milwaukee_69 & subscribe to the channel 👍

Guages bro...
Yeah that's a good tool to own as I have my own as well, but any property I've have ever been to have their own gauges so the video was the basic tools for starting out in apartment maintenance as if you didn't have any tools. Thanks for the input & watching 👍
