What is your favourite Airtable feature?? 🤓

Airtable really needs its own web app front end rather than using a 3rd party. The interface designer is OK but doesn't work on mobile devices. I've gone down a rabbit whole trying to find a 3rd party front end.
Maybe that will come in the future. Thanks for the video.

Thanks Marty! Yep agree, think one of the biggest limitations of airtable is not being able to open up aspects of your base to external users without using a 3rd party tool, but at the same time at least there are 3rd party tools in the meantime!

I have to say I quite like interface designer, but top feature is probably just the overall ease of use ! Great video thanks Jamie, keep em coming 👍

Great video thanks. Gallery view is a big favourite but really where do you stop, I’m a big fan of the whole package.

Thank you Graham! Yep Gallery view is great, and now can include Gallery element in Interface Designer as well! I really appreciate the nice comment! 🙂

Great video again. Airtable has released its own interface or frontend. Do you think it will be enough to use Airtable alone without Softr or Bubble to create more complex app like inventory managment app?

Thank you for watching Asa! Airtable can work really well alone primarily for internal processes and workflows, and Airtable Interfaces has made it even better for internal collaboration! If you are hoping to use Airtable to collaborate with external users (e.g. Clients, Suppliers of your business etc.) then you will more likely than not want to look at an external facing frontend tool like Softr, Bubble, Pory, MiniExtensions, Glide Apps etc... The main reason for this is because of the way Airtable's roles & permissionings are currently set up.. if you want certain types of users having only access to certain data in your Airtable Base (and not the entire Airtable base!), and allow them only to Edit certain fields etc. then a front end tool like Softr will let you do that!
