I absolutely love the timbre of Tori's voice.
Tori's voice is like a warm hug.........not to mention her vocal fry.
Tori has an absolutely timeless voice that takes me back to the 60s and '70s. I have not heard a tone like that since Karen Carpenter in the '70s. Tori is capable of more and has covered different artists and also has an original. Please support this girl at all cost because this world needs her!

In American, the word you were searching for is "vibe". We all know the record, and this isn't that, but I would have to believe that Karen sounded different at the Oxnard Fair than in the recording studio, for a whole bunch of reasons. Richard and Tori both appeared at a Carpenters 55th anniversary at A&R this spring.
I was there, too. I met Tori, too damn shy to meet RC. I’m in the group shot mere feet away, though. Tori killed it at the Acoustic Night, I recorded it if you click though my ID. I also linked her Studio Version and all the official 55th videos, including RC’s interview. Also a few other phone videos like mine. Richard was not on the schedule but was the surprise guest on the last night.
You are correct. Tori's voice is divine. Just like Karen one of a kind.
