    Luhačovice is a charming town located in Zlinsky region in the eastern part of the Czech Republic, 316 km southeast of the capital city of the country Prague, 114 km east of Brno and 22 km south of Zlin. The population of Luhačovice is 6,500 people.
    Luhačovice is famous for its natural spa treatments, which focus on respiratory and circulatory system issues. The town is home to several mineral springs, including the most famous ones - Vincentka and Ottovka.
    The town boasts unique architecture designed by the Slovak architect, Dušan Jurkovič. Several houses with this unique style can be found also in the spa area, including Jurkovič House or Villa Jestřabí.
    Luhačovice river passes through the town from Pozlovická dam, which is situated 2 km north from the center of the town and can be accessed by comfortable walking/cycling path. The dam is popular for recreation area and is surrounded by hotels, restaurants and buffets. The dam offers water sport activities like swimming, boating, and fishing. You can also walk, ride a bike or roller skate around the dam.
