    That's one of the most aesthetic lines I've ever seen, and you filmed (and climbed) it beautifully. Kudos!

      Thank you so much! I almost didn't film it because of how windy it was... I'm glad I did!!! It was an amazing day!! Adventure guaranteed

    There is a similar fin on Hermit Pk in northern NM, near Las Vegas . Fun climb ,many routes ,no permanent anchors , good slick granite

      Cool! I don't know that one. Do you have a video to recommend for me to watch?

    One of the best adventures in the Blue Mountains ao far, and there are many good ones. Awesome crew and mad vibes, super long but an unforgettable one. As usual, awesome vid Jorge.

      The frame with the climber in the contrast dark and bright light is insane btw! 👏

    This video (and other similar like Rampaging Roy) has such a calming effect on me. I watch it regularly to relieve my anxiety 😂
    Please continue to post more content like this. Love your channel!

      Thank you so much! That's actually something I thought about when making these videos.. I might do a bigger compilation like an hour long or so with lots of climbing and calming music. I like that idea a lot!!
      I'm really glad you liked it and that I can help somehow!!

      Thanks mate! It was actually tricky filming, as the wind was blowing hard on this day... I wanted to do some wider shots with the drone, but I was afraid of losing it 😂

    Jorge have you ever climbed in the states? How does YDS stand up to Ewbanks? I’ve climbed a bunch on sandstone in Utah and AZ and it’s my fav along with my home granite of New Hampshire.

    • @JorgePacker
      @JorgePacker  Před rokem +1

      Hey Casey! I have never been to the US, but hopefully some time soon. I had some people say Ewbanks felt easier than YDS for the same grade, and the other way around as well! I guess in the end it all depends on your style, what you prefer, and also where you go, because some places are really sandbagged lol while other places the grading of the routes can be a bit too generous!
      I like the sandstone a lot too, that's on what I started climbing...
      But after climbing in Brazil (Serra do Cipó) the rock there felt so nice! The perfect amount of friction, very hard rock and it feels like you can climb the whole day! I think it's limestone..
      Cheers

    I can imagine just about any sane person thinking, "why did you lower halfway down a cliff just to climb back up?" And honestly, I'm kinda thinking that too. Why is it that we climb these things?

    • @JorgePacker
      @JorgePacker  Před rokem +1

      😂😂 I thought about that a lot too.. I guess it's the same reason two people would spend hours hitting a ball with a racket to each other.. or why one would run 40km to arrive at the same spot where they left lol

    • @jakeyeager123
      @jakeyeager123 Před rokem

      Because it’s way more fun going up than coming down

      @@jakeyeager123 True! I love the climbing and hate the rappels!
