STANDING TIMBER Bass fishing...You MIGHT NOT know THIS!

Bass fishing the standing timber can often be frustrating. If you understand the timber in conjunction with seasonal bass patterns, you can increase your productivity. They live in these flooded forests and you can catch them more often than you think.

Have you been on the water much yet?

Caught a 6.30 and another smallie out there last Saturday and that was it. My first tourney is there next Saturday. Wish I could practice again this weekend but highs in the 30s I’m not making the drive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated if you’re willing to reach out. Thanks for watching ! I would have to check the last deeper water in the back of the smaller pockets off the main lake. With the weather changing and things cooling back off, I would say that some of those fish have pulled off of the shallower cuts and have moved out to the last deeper water toward the back. They will still be fairly shallow, but definitely closer to the deeper water .

@@so.inoutdoors it’s not until next weekend (25th) so we will be a couple days into a warming front with it being 65-70 a day or two before.but also a couple days of warm rain leading up

@@H2Oman_fishing if the water is rising…fish the middle of the ditches all the way in the backs. Those fish will pile in those ditches when water is coming in
