Compact, Simple, Reliable, Automatic Lego gun. Gravity fed magazine, that holds 9 technic 1x3 beams. Gun is a work-in-progress to be Incorporated to a Medium-large scale tank! I'm thinking something like a M109 Paladin or just a custom free-build tank! - Věda a technologie

This is just the best ending the worst (50/50 chances each) the gouvernent will fuck you all over your life and you can't do shit about it because you can't defend youserlf sheep.
Would be pretty expensive since each set would require a battery box and a motor. Unless you are thinking of a hand cranked version.
HORRIOR I think you could do that with big and small gears so you input more power and spin the crank slower (big gears) and output more power from the small gears.
HONKING Outloud Make special rounds filled with gunpowder and a tack at the end, and aim directly at the face. Extra points if you make it into a turret.

Actually, the weaker the motor the better, at laest as it is a little stronger than the rubber bands. Cause if the motors are going to be much more stronger it will not shoot at all, cause the rubber bands will have no effect, they will move too slowly and won't be abel to move the motor.

simple, exposed shooting mechanism, pieced it together just from the video. really fun to modify and tinker with, and really easy to cover with technic plates. Amazing build.

I remember making a similar liek gun when I was like 8 I have no idea how I did it, because now that I’m 15 I can’t even begin to replicate it, but still really cool
I've been looking for a design like this forever. I could never get my version to work cause I used a snail cam and a lot more rubber bands and 3d printed parts.
A machine gun that shoots bullets. But the bullets are also landmines. Genius.

Just take this mechanism, but use one of the push technic triggers and place it in a gun model. Also, flip the entire thing upside down, and feed the bullets through the bottom with a rubber band.
Fesnf better to use a spring than a rubber band.

@@imasepan presumably, but a band that's the correct size is much easier to find then a spring... Though I'd still think a gravity fed system works be better

Hey zack, this video really inspired me to make my own, i made the identical gun but one problem arose, my clips is a little shorter only boasting 6 1x3s to fire. but is seems like they just don’t want to let gravity push them down. they stick to the axle but the will fall with a little motivation. how did you get yours to fall so effortlessly?
few ways:
1. use sander to make the bolts smaller.
2. drill bigger holes in them
3. add a dammn spring on top or some sort of heavier thing

Mc5 gaming it's pretty easy to make if you pay attention.
The motor spins a gear which is attached to a piece (P1) that is connected to a static piece by a few rubber-bands.
The motor spins, P1 is being pulled back by the gear, and the rubber-bands snap it back into it's original place, and by doing so, a "firing pin" is pushed forwards very quickly. Then the gear rotates again and the cycle continues.

amazeing, i love the desine of the shooting macanisome, i am going to replace the motor with a crankable lever and use a bullet holder that is easeor to reload with, but it is a awsome gun.
