I've seen other CZcams clips where guys can magically thread just 1 single zip tie from underneath the the fender in 30 seconds. There's no way I could do that in 30 seconds, and it's certainly not easy. The additional zip ties inserted into the fender from the top and joining it to the last zip tie in the 'daisy chain' makes the task so much easier than using wire, string, paper clips, chewing gum or anything else in the book of MacGyverology Volume 3. Of course, I always use re-usable zip ties, because they are so expensive to replace! :)

Take a 5 foot length of paracord and thread about 3 feet thru the hole. It will drop on the wheel, pull it out to either side. Feed the bolt on the paracord slide it up about halfway on the paracord. Tie a knot below the bolt and pull the other end (on top of the fender). The bolt will be pulled up to the hole where you can easily turn it to the proper orientation and put the locking ring on. No zip ties, no tape.

@BryTheBiker I didn't have zip ties, so I took your idea and compromised. I was expecting a challenge to replace this part until I found your video. I ended up using some scrap soild electric wire I had laying around and it worked like a charm. Thanks again for the brilliant idea.
