I bought a 2017 Ultra Limited for 17,000 in 2019 with 6,000 miles on it, I ride it a lot around town and on the highway with the liquid cooled heads you can ride all year long here in Texas. Best Harley I have ever owned period and I have owned a bunch of them. I still have my 1986 FXST which I can never part with after 30 years of ownership. And also no wind noise is great with a half shell helmet or no helmet at all on the ultra limited.

I’m genuinely curious why people bother with half helmets? Why not just go full face if you’re going to bother with a helmet at all? Half helmets will do nothing for you in a crash. So you wasted your money. For the $230 of that half helmet you can get a very good full face that will, you know, protect your head and face in the event of a crash.

I like everything you said about Harley. I had a road glide limited and went to a new road glide with long haul package and I love it so much even if they did come out with new limited I would stay with my new bike 👍

Top of your right-side tour pack? Huh? Don't you think it would have been helpful to show where your tour pack is and where actually on your motorcycle the transponder sits? Not really useful for me. I guess if I had the same bike as you it would make more sense.

What is your opinion btw the Road Glide vs Goldwing? Interested mostly in slow speed handling. Afraid the goldwing is the worse at that.

That is a sensible take on things, but I disagree it's not just a passing season. People are sick of having politics crammed down their throat 24-7. Especially when you move politics from the news or political stage and into the enjoyment realm, football, beer drinking, bikes, etc. Which creates this pushback you have.I agree with it 100%. This was perhaps the dumbest move Harley could have made, Oh make that the second dumbest. First would be sending production over to Thailand.They are out of touch with their loyal core fan base. I worked for a Harley dealership and our owner bought everyone there a dixxon of their choice. Wasn’t long before people started asking for them because we all rode and just impressed with fit and finish.

I am Gen X and could care less about Harley Davidson, in fact I hate Harley. My dad has had three, and IMO they do not ride well, are to loud, and overpriced. Most of Gen X grew up with Cafe Racers and Moto GP bikes, those are the bikes we like. It is the same reason we prefer Asian cars over American cars. We like performance that is practical, and affordable. Greatest Generation and Baby Boomers like Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaro's, Gen X and Millennials like Nissan GTR's and Porsche 911's. I say this because, like you said in your video, most of Gen X, and the majority of Millennials view Harley Davidson as one thing "Grandpa's Bike" or "Dad's Bike". From a marketing standpoint, that is the last thing you want to be known as, and it is also a hard stance to shake.

I've had my Krome Werks stage I just like yours for quiet a while now but after 6 mo of it on, I've never had to take it off an clean or oil it. Do you use K&N llcleaner and spray oil on the filter or what and how do you clean yours?

Loved the video… good content and the audio is excellent. I ride a 2012 ElectraGlide Classic and have had it for 4 years. Love it. The touring platform of bikes is so good.

Just a heads up. Honda has not made Motorcycles in America since 2009 when they closed the Marysville Motorcycle Plant. There as noise in the media about 2024 models being made in America but no motor cycle plant is in operation in the US.

I hope you are wrong. I am looking for another New Ultra Limited next year as I have 2 already and my sons are riding them. Love those bikes and I do not want a piece meal put together bike. We go on 2-3 week trips across Canada and the United States every year and those bikes are the most comfortable for long haul. Also we all use the radio, Bluetooth etc on the bikes so the should leave well enough alone. If they do that I am done with Harley. Keep the ones I have but will look for another brand that has what I need in one package. This upselling etc is b.s. and I am tired of how Harley has been losing their way. I mean for crying out loud, they had these horrible pastel colors for 2023 also.

Couple of thoughts. 1. I always buy used even if its the current model year. You always get extras and pay less vs brand new. 2. Always use my credit union to purchase. Will always beat harley finance rates. 3. No issue with limited/ultra going away. Like the concept of build it how you want it.

Whats the purpose of selling your Harley, they already got your money from the initial sale? Its one thing not do buy another Harley motorcycle, but why sell the one you already own?

So you said it yourself, Honda is assembled here. So I’ve been looking at Tri-glides, so if Harley wants to out source their manufacturing like all the other manufacturers then I might as well look at price point and look at a Honda

The fastest way to change the company is to affect profits…boycott or online campaign making it popular to not buy hd will cause the board to replace ceo overnight…then the changes will start faster than you think. The mom and pops will be ok if the change is swift. Hd only appeals to a select customer base with their current models so they’ll have to change to keep atleast that market share. To expand they may have to build cheaper bikes abroad to new customers that won’t care as much but atleast the current customers may be satisfied for next 5 years.

This guy needs to find a gay pride parade to join. Vanguard is a woke company artificially propping up Harley-Davidson. Harley gets a lot more money from Vanguard than it does from customers. If they don't go woke they lose the support of Vanguard and some other similar company. As far as Harley goes smart guy, they won't work on my bike because it is over 10 years old. They abandoned me. I won't buy oil filters or anything else from Harley. If I wreck my bike I will use the insurance money to buy another brand. I won't use OEM parts. They seem great. But I’m kind of short and can barely flatfoot my bike, so I actually have to find a motorcycle boot that has some heel-drop (6mm) to it. Plenty of them out there, but it just seems like Indy Ridge models are all flat footed. Thanks for the review.
