Why tail docking is banned in the UK

    Good point, is true that some breeds they cut the tail to avoid injuries, like hunting, but lets be honest most of the dogs are not use for hunting so it had no purpose, beside the tail has a very important function with stability specally when they run

      I agree! most dogs are not used for hunting so people do it for the 'look'

      ​@@AxelMillerOutDoorswhat isn't true? 😂 Most people do not hunt and the type of hunting matters a lot too, it wouldn't make much sense vs ducks or something. Or are you saying there was never a reason to dock tails?

    I've got a dog with a docked tail, and I wouldn't do it if I was a breeder.

      Against. Doing things to animals to fit rraditional breed standards is doing a lot of damage. This is something we can easily change.

    Tail docking is dumb.so is ear docking. Theres no reason for it. Period
