I grew up in the sixties. Dad was an iron worker, welder, for American Bridge. He had built two massive grape arbors. One was purple grapes the other one green grapes. So sweet and so good to eat. Neighbors, in those days, would bring their peaches and purple plums, and exchange them for our grapes. We always had two gardens. You building those arbors brought back many cool memories. I can remember both of them working every evening, and us kids expected to help them out, cutting grass and chores in our big yard. Your place is so beautiful, and private. Well worth all of the work it takes to maintain. God bless.

They are to young. The older birds would probably kill them. With no mom that hatched them in the flock, there is no one to protect them. Pecking order within the animal world is brutal. Waiting until they are bigger lessens the chance of injury.
