7 years later the graphics and gameplay still hold up. Honestly, this is my favorite in the franchise.
Gosh it shocks me how underrated Assassins Creed Unity is.
The parkour is fast and satisfying,
The graphics are still better than some of the newer games,
and the combat is not too bloated but is really cool to me.
Oh and of course the Stealth.
I am LITERALLY in the middle of class, but hey, a Swifty upload is still a Swifty upload.

Pls ubisoft leave this new rpg gameplay and bring unity style ac back
What RPG aspect do you want Ubisoft to abandon? Leveling? Different weapon levels? Enemy power levels? Different weapons? Skill trees? Because Unity had all of those too.
Yes the new combat is just ok, the parkour is horrible, some enemies are gigantic bullet sponges, and leveling takes too much time in Odyssey and Valhalla, but if you look past all that the games are pretty much kinda the same, heck Origins had a story and a protagonist 100x better than Unity, with much better side quests too, with a setting so gorgeous it felt like I was traveling through time, not that different from Unity’s Paris.
I never understood all the hate towards the new games, people act like you couldn’t just fight your way through the previous entries, stealth was pretty much the less effective way to play when you could just parry everyone to insta kill them.
@@hjj9269 bro we need assassins in assassins creed, assassins creed was so unique till unity now they are repetitive, and are copying witcher style gameplay, we need ac not an open world rpg no argue origins is a great game, but the rest two are just straightforward trash, they should create a new ip and stop milking the name of ac , unity was pretty much like ac1 introduced new gameplay which was pretty much like assassins creed, the only problem with unity was less time for development and ubi$oft overestimating ps4 and x box one consoled

@@KrishnaGUPTA-bx7pw In some situations combat is 100% the better option, why sneak around, use your tools and all that when you can just parry everyone and use a staggering strike and just insta kill the guy, but in the older games it was the worst, why sneak around in AC2, a game which didn’t even have a sneak button mind you, when you can just parry everyone and insta kill them, it’s not like the combat was that difficult, compared to stealth it was a piece of cake.
What the pause screen says is completely irrelevant, why do you even think that matters? It also says plenty of dumb stuff like “Play heists to make money” ignoring the fact that heists are a horrible way to make money.

@@EliFarb For a 2014 game, it looks better on PC than games made today. Valhalla has character models who look like plastic.
@@blacktigerpaw1 the last of us remastered came out in 2014, so did infamous second son, and they both look wayyy better than ac unity
@@EliFarb Well since the last of us and infamous second son are exclusively for ps, you can’t compare them to ac unity which is on pc, ps4 and xbox one. Oh and also the game isn’t just good looking on pc, it looks fine on ps and xbox.
@@greenhood5906 nah it really doesn't look fine on PS4, it looks barely adequate imo. I play it on a 4k HDR TV so the lighting is somewhat good, but everything else about the graphics are pretty mediocre. And the game still runs badly
Do you (or anyone else) know how to minimize the bugs in this game? I've been trying to make a few recordings on it but the cover system is really weird and sticky, sometimes i glitch inside the walls. And then the actual parkour doesn't feel consistent at all, like when i try to jump to the same ledge for a catch ledge, it doesn't do it the same way every time even though i jump in the same direction..? On PC with like 60 fps/ 1080p, I thought the bugs would be less but it seems to not be the case.

Unity had the best gameplay
This game is 8 years old, and still has better graphics than Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla.
I just want my smoke bombs back and an assassin protagonist
I'm playing this on PS4 and it's still so broken so many glitches not to mention I'm use to the controls in AC 2 an brotherhood so the parkour in this is a bit annoying even tho it looks better
