Huge admiration for Freya's commitment to the part; she, like Henry Cavill, has now so grown into the role it's hard to imagine else playing the part all.
Ikr when I first heard the casting, I was not feeling it after playing the games. But after season 1, Henry really nailed the role more than anyone, but I was still ehh about Ciri and Yen and Jaskier and even Triss. Now after having seen season 2, all of these actors have really grown on me, and I actualy got very immersed during season 2, my brain wasent thinking about how they look! Geralt, Ciri, and Jaskier all have amazing actors, cant wait for the third season!
She has come so far! Her acting capabilities shine bright this season and can't wait to see more of her!

@@alibabapirce9782 They didn't do stunts because of fun. They did it for filming, fun comes later. You want your main character to fall on her back without any protection?

It's just captivating how she delivers all of herself to the character. And gosh, she was made to use a sword! Looks like a ballerina

@@NobleTreizeN13 Yeah, same here! Not that she was bad before, but to nail every scene to this extent, never over- or underact, and at her age - I think we're seeing a truly great actress come into her own here.
She really shined this season. Can't wait to have more Geralt and Ciri adventures.

Get ready for a emotional Rollercoaster and please for the love of God - DO NOT RUSH IT! If you rush through the Main Plot you probably won't get the Good Ending at all. Learn to know all the Main Characters and Side Quest Characters because some of them help you when you have to fight the Wild Hunt. A good Tip: Ciri is not in immediate Danger! You don't need to rush to help her.

When I saw one of that first production picture of SE02 Ciri in her new costume and that LOOK on her face, I thought "OMG, I think she nailed it". Turns out she did. Knowing what she is going to go through in the future, I am already chocked up at the though of seeing that on screen, with what will surely be a brilliant performance.

So they decided to change the personality of the characters to the worse, removed some good scenes from the book, spoiled the Emhyr's capacity as a father of Ciri 5 season earlier than it should, made Vesemir a guy far from what is in the books, Eskel a drunken looser, Yennefer instead of a teacher and then a "mother" to Ciri, as a woman who would give anything to take back her magic back with teenage attitude, Triss the woman that instead of a big sister is something like an aunt, Kahir is faithful to Emhyr instead of a blackmailed follower that wants to see free his imprisoned dad etc. If you are not going to follow the books just make it clear from the beginning, dont make false statements in order to hype the fans. Follow the books or at least do it in a 50% ffs.

@@thodoris1178 Well, you'll always have the books to envision and enjoy, it's very common that TV producers and investors try to tell their own story through other people's original ideas.
If you should feel betrayed by anyone it should be the author of the books for selling the rights of his work without strict guidelines in the contract.
He doesn't seem to mind though so why should you?
There are few things that I don't like in The Witcher books, games and TV series but in all of them, the pros outweight the cons and they are all enjoyable.
Season 2 was great but not as much as season 1. May be this season will be a start for something bigger 🙂

Off Subject since people aren't hardcore die hard fans and haven't red the books. Season 1 is "The Last Wish", Season 2 is "Sword of Destiny", and in the end of season 2, we get a tease that season 3 will be "Blood of Elves".

Season 2 confirmed a few things :
1. Henry was a great Geralt from the get go.
2. Anya is actually a great Yennefer.
3. Freya is actually a god damn great Ciri.
I feared in season, because of Freya's small frame and apparent fragile body, that she would struggle to be as physical as Ciri is supposed to be.
But in season two she is knocking it out of the park, her future is bright as Ciri !
_(and as she's getting older herself, we might end up with her looking as a close as Ciri's design in the Witcher 3 wild hunt, which I can't wait for)_
Show is ok but Plz stop saying its from book coz there is nothing from book in season 2
What are you talking about ,the part with the hog and the bruxia is from the book and ciris training with triss coming to the witcher castle and they finding out she has elder bloood , geralt character development is something you also can read in the book . Yeah they change the story with the witch from the hut is new but thats only so they would have a villan for this season but they put it in such way that ut still shows respect to the book and the main story so

Eventhou they left lot of details First episode was best for season2 .They changed main plot of book. even for game fan its so cringe. They were way out from book and worse of them all is elves and sorceress plot which is main story. Dont even start with nilfgaard and cahr story. Also what is wrong with language use so poor
@@Magar0monk forgive my English i know its not the best and I think u got me all wrong you are of course free to have your own opinion about the show i know that there were things that they left out completely and even changed about the story but for that you gotta remember that this is a netflix adaptation and I still don't think that they changed it that much so that it would have a whole different impact on the bigger picture
she grew on me... I think Season 3 if her character progresses.. should be even more interesting... I think the actress is 20 yrs old and maybe a 2 year gap between season 1 and 2, but when season 2 started, she looked visibly older than end of season 1?

When they started filming season 1 Freya was 17, at the end of season 1 she was 18. Then fast forward how long it took to really film the season because of everything and covid related things. Ended up being around 19-20, she’s 20 right now.

Her acting part is really improved, doing great but her action part is bit . I guess she should work out on her physical fitness, in so many moments especially when she runs , she looks so weak.
Hmm, preperations looks nice, season 2 is kinda sucky sucky, in my opinion. They just 'netflixed' Witcher.

The second season of the series was definitely better than the first season. Congratulations, but there were still a lot of shortcomings. 1-Cast team is very bad. If this series does not fit the books, it cannot be a legend like Game of Thrones. 2-The lens in Geralt's eyes was very contrived. 3- While Vesemir was a father and master figure, he was always the one who made mistakes in the series. It's like Geralt is his teacher. 4-Wild Hunt and Eredin are supposed to be very scary but they are not scary at all. Please make them more scary. 5-Eskel's type and death are very bad. He was not liked by anyone. 6-Political issues are very boring and the cast is very bad, except for Emhry. These are my thoughts for the index to be better. Good luck
For someone who doesn't read the book (like me), it is already close to perfection. They should add more action scenes tho. Some story may be a little too childish for me. The political issue on the series is very unique, something I haven't seen from the other series. I do agree however with Geralt's contact lenses.
Idea for Witcher Season 3, focus more on monster folklore. The political part of Witcher S2 is pretty weak imo
The political part is integral to the plot. It can't be abandoned. All the politics in S2 are just a beginning and later become an important part not just for Ciri's journey but for other characters as well.

It's because they kept proclaiming that they were going to stick as close to the books as possible that's why.
Because at this point (season 2) it's not an adaptation anymore. It's badly written fan fiction :(
