A most memorable Scotland kit. I think I remember some footy magazine suggest the only things missings would be two pistols on either side of the band on the shorts.

I was at the game in Queretaro.
    Great attempt by Scotland.
I took photo of Gordon Strachan's celebration after his goal.
In Paris at I was at WC98 opener against Brazil. Another good Scotland performance.
After the game I met Gordon Strachan...and showed him the photo. He said "Can I have that photo?' A polite No...was the answer.

Arrogant Ferguson took mcleish and Miller and dalgleish who got us there was so disgusted he said he was injured and pulled out, he also refused to play nicholas and mcavennie together who were the top two strikers in Europe just because the press did a wee gunslinger story at el Paso , the headline are these the men to shoot down Denmark, prick Ferguson said the press aren't picking the team. Then he left souness out against uruguay the one man you wanted to play again to show who was boss, totally sabotaged any chance through pure ego, mcavennie still says that team with Hansen dalgleish nicholas and mcavennie would have been formidable outfit and you can see what he meant they dominated all three games and had no luck without the main men

Usual lack of guile and decisiveness from Scotland in attack. Chance at 4:13 is a case in point. But Malpas passes it too square to Souness who, instead of bursting forward into the box, then had to pull it on to his right foot, reducing the time he had to shoot, and so he snatched at it. Typical. This was criminal defending from Germany twice, and you can bet that if the roles were reversed then Germany would have buried the chance.
