  • The HK LEM conversion is very misunderstood, as it is described as double-action-only (DAO). Although it is technically DAO, it is really a hybrid of DAO and single-action. I hope this video shows the difference between the HK LEM and tradional DAO pistols.

Thanks for making this video. You actually did a better job explaining the LEM trigger than Sean Burrows!

It's amazing how horrible people are at describing the LEM trigger on forums. Thank you for the video; it really clears up any confusion.

You explained the LEM V1 trigger in a way anyone could understand , good job!! I have been going back and forth on whether or not to put it in my 4 HK's

Thank your for taking the time to do this video. For me, it took all the mystery out of LEM operation.

Just dropping by to thumb up this vdo and LEM installation VDOs. Your vids are super useful and helped my installed my LEM trigger on my HK45c (V3 -> LEM) all the way here in Thailand. Thank you Carrera!.

Hmm. I bought an HK USP C/T .45 a few years ago, and never knew what kind of trigger it had - all I know is that it was different than other HKs I've shot. Mine does not have a decocker/safety lever at all, it has the bobbed hammer, and the trigger/hammer functions just like your 45c. Seems to me that I've got the LEM trigger on my USP. Thanks for posting your video...cleared up a lot of confusion for me!

I bought the HK P2000 .40 in a V2 LEM (preferred it in v2 tbh, esp for duty/carry. Having extensive experience with the M9, MK23, M1911, and Glock 19 and revolvers for years, and SIG both in DA/SA and DAK, I think the LEM hits the sweet-spot in terms of functionality, with hammer-fired guns, imo, operating better for ME).
One weird thing is the gun doesn't seem to like dry-fire practice, or testing the take-up on the trigger. I was excessive in testing it, i admit that, broke the trigger return spring, installed a new one but either I got the wrong one from HKParts (unlikely) or when I finally shipped it to HK after I installed a titanium firing pin that broke after less than 25 dry-fires and NO live-fire...I sent it off. Gun came back working perfectly in less than a week

If you listen closely on trigger reset you have a false reset.

Thanks for making this video. What piece did you use to cover the hole from the safety being gone on the left side of the pistol? I want to install the LEM and get rid of the safety but I don’t want to be stuck with a hole where the safety was. Thanks for your time.

Is it fair to say the LEM is similar to the triple action on the Korean, Daewoo pistol? Or the spring assist opening on Gruber knives?

Hey man, debating between LEM V1 (light lem) vs Todd Green Special lem (6 lbs). I'm going for P30S for carry... Thanks!

Watched your videos on the conversion. You did a good job. I'm considering doing this for my HK45c. Are you going to post any range time with the new LEM? Thanks!

  • @uber3D

No de-cocker on the LEM variant. There is an option to keep the safety lever.... I believe, but I am not sure how smooth that works.

Super job uber3D, thank you. I watched all the videos on the HK45C LEM. I have the 40 in LEM Lite, but I had the factory do the job! I'm thinking ow about buying the USP 45! How come you didn't go with the USP, just curious!!

Hey i have a p30 SA/DA with safety. Can you convert it to LEM?

  • @bettieguitar
    @bettieguitar Před 11 lety

You can but the parts are not HK approved, probably due to the small issue with the de cocker. I think that I am going to buy a SA/DA HK45 and install the LEM kit and see how I like it. I may have made a bad choice with the SA/DA P30L.
