@@LtBuzzLitebeer coin toss for a better word. Lol There’s a program called event viewer in windows that tells you the reason why a crashed happened and where it came from. Gives a good description, then you can look up the issue and figure out how to fix it.

The other night i was running around the DZ with a level 30 character and i came across another player and we were talking about the game. He asked me if it was worth buying the expansion and i told him yes because without it he’s really cutting himself out of a lot of the content that makes this game whats it is, even with all of its problems. I mean he still had purple gear in his build and was telling me ow frustrated he was getting playing conflict because he couldn’t do any damage to anyone. I mean he never even heard of the exotic weapons. I just so happen to have a Pestilence drop for me in the DZ, we extracted and i immediately gave it to him. He was really excited and said he wished there were more nice players in the DZ. I said its a mixed bag. I’ve come across a lot of dicks in the DZ but have come across even more friendly players. He later told me he would be buying the expansion and i told him to hook up with me when he did and i would help him as much as i can.

One of the best things about Div 2, is the friendly & willing helpful community (DZ though, that player was fortunate to meet you). I started playing during a covid lock down. The positive for me was the community of players. To this day I will always answer a call for backup, this is how I met many in the community and see it as giving back.

I've organically met and friended players in the DZ, just like what you've described. Not everyone you meet is toxic.
I still play nearly every day despite having a lot of new games. I love the enemy AI in the game especially on heroic or legendary. I have around 5000 hours into it. The gameplay keeps drawing me back despite the problems with the game. It's a shame the way the devs treat the game.

So I would like to say the new team may have broken lots but 8t does seem like we are getting more from the newer team than the old they are still learning but moving in the right way

@@shouty3 it did. Me sometimes got frozen 2-3x in a day.. Sometimes none. What break me is the fps drop or stuttering... I have other AAA games which I haven played yet... It is difficult to force myself quit playing it.. And though I quit it, I missed shooting something then going in again...
To be honest with the current random freezes and crashes no if it would be fixed i would say 100% must buy

as another d2 player (destiny 2) I played division back in the day and saw the bundle was on sale with warlords so I pulled the trigger and it’s been a nice breath of fresh air exploring dc and now new york

What I really liked about this game was the gameplay and the environment. I cannot stress on how good the environment design is, specially in warlords of new york, with those muddy waters and the stranded tanker mission. Its too good. The gameplay environment is also great, how it shows the control point names and their level, its amazing. Rogue Agents dropping in after clearing a CP4 is also too good. Although I am not sure if its only me, but their presence has decreased a lot, a LOT... !! I am not sure if it has something to do with the storyline. But other than that, its really great.
I find this TD2 to be the most satisfying shooter to date. Had to stop because I couldn't handle all the crashing, the bugs never bothered me really. Recently came back to try out a fix and it worked! Culprit was the EAC (easy anti cheat), so I created a windows registry for easyanticheat to always have priority idle. This did the trick for me.
Also the video game industry is so lacking that I don't see anything better coming along.

I bought this game when it was released on Steam a couple of months and I've put 73 hours so far while playing with my brother co-op online. My overall experience is a 9.5/10. Like it's the best third person shooter I've ever played and I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a fun and grindy shooter.

Congrats Buzz on your channels success over the years I've been a grateful fan as well as a player since the beginning and its great to see your channel grow with this great community we have. I only wish we were getting a division 3 (crosses fingers for a Chicago location) some time soon but with Avatar and Star Wars being worked on first I don't see this happening.
For anybody who hasn't played this game: I am not a normal viewer of this CZcamsr and I just recently got this game with my friend and we just now completed the Warlords of New York DLC. The biggest thing I don't like so far is that the game forces players to play on STORY difficulty the first time through. It's like, we were so yawning just grinding through to make it FINALLY to the end and be able to turn up the difficulty. We even put it down for 2-3 months when we reached level 30 because we were just burnt out on run-n-gun. We wanted something where we actually had to face some adversity. This game finally got there, now we can set it on Challenging and duo some black tusk missions, it's just stupid they force you to play every mission on snooze mode the first time. Thinking back, we should have done the DLC to get boosted ASAP and then played through missions at endgame level. After all, we were already experienced with The Division from 2022.
I absolutely love this game, I love the story line and the progression, I'm almost embarrassed to say I have started over at least 200 times lol. I have the base game and wony and the season pass, my shd level isn't crazy high due to the fact that I start over in between events, manhunts and seasons
You'd be much better off to just keep 1 main character and keep grinding to get your watch level (SHD) to at least 1000 and put together a few builds and fully optimize them. Then use 1 of your other 3 left over character slots to do your start overs, and keep 2 other characters open and Boost them to 30 then complete WONY on each of them, go to the white house and see Inaya and buy the shared blueprints that way every time your main character levels up, those other characters are also getting those watch points, which you can then use to buy materials with whenever you need them for your main character. This really helps for optimizing gear. Plus the higher your watch is over 1000 on your main, the more points you'll get from running a character through WONY.
I started the game 3 weeks ago, and having a blast……it’s my between game at the moment, just waiting on Starfield to come out

I started watching Brian Menard doing a first time playthrough of division 1& 2 and its interesting to see someone new to the franchise enjoying it so much considering how old these games are by todays standards. Its a great game to still pick up as the graphics are still amazing and even if your only gonna play it for the story itself its still worth every penny. This is a game that really started a lot of channels to grow and there's no question why.
Can I ask what today's standards are?
@@Big_Toe_21 what I mean is other than something like GTA 5 what game that came out in 2016 not only still has a large player base but can actually graphicly still hold up that long, there isn't many.
I spent some time in DC for a small part of my life, and walking past places I've spent time at and seeing how it has been almost flawless recreated... it's pretty neat
Despite the bugs, it is still one of my favorite games ever. I still really enjoy it and play it regularly. Highly recommend it.
Can I still get old season exotics or am I too late to get them?
@Lexx most of the exotics are in the loot pool at this point. So you should be able to get them but will require some farming
this makes me wanna jump into it. I purchased it on sale awhile back but barely sank time into it but hearing this makes me wanna reinstall and sink some real time into it and see how it goes
You wont regret it, Theres a ton of content for newer players to tackle! ONe of my favorite games of all time and ive played on and off since launch and recently picked it back up and got addicted again

If you subscribe to one of the upper tier PS Plus options, I think Div 2 is included with the Ubisoft titles, and every couple of months WONY is on sale for $8.99.
If you're from Southeast Asia like me then definitely its a must buy on the PC. You won't have any problems joining lobbies as its always full or crowded.

came back after division 2 release and I fell in love with the game all over again all things pve and pc graphics is such a change in experience since i last played on console.. cant say much about pvp but im back season 11 for a long while
I could not agree more, I've been playing this game since Div1 and now Div2 and there is no game out there that provides the best gaming experience, in fact the only reason I upgrade my gaming PC to the latest and greatest, from a slow outdated Nvidia1080 running on an intel i7 to the new RTX4090 and i13K and all I can say is wow the graphics on full ultra settings are just lovely...
I can only hope that the developers will follow-up and create the DIV3 sequel as they are may not realize that they are sitting on a "gold Mine"...thanks for sharing
Played div 1 on and off since release with my best friend (who sadly passed earlier this year), when Div 2 came out I was all over it.yes I’ve had breaks but always enjoy my time when I jump back on.
I’ve even bought copies for my Xbox friends when it’s been on sale too to try and get them into it which unfortunately never worked😅. I’d definitely say it’s worth playing even with all the issues especially if you can find it cheap on sale which the complete edition usually is, would steer clear at full price now tho
I think Ubisoft's main focus in The Division series right now is the Mobile title The Division Resurgence.
I played division and division 2. Had division 2 on day 1 and was a great game. Just went back to play again and there is so much new content.
We still don't have any real alternative to The Division 2 out there that are theme'd like The Division and play like The Division.
Sure we've got looter-shooters but The Division's wholly unique in the gaming market and for the consistent sales/low price? Def can recommend.

I’ve not played another game as much as this one except the Total War series.
Both this and the first one still stand up as probably some of my greatest all time games from the past 43 years I've been gaming..
I haven't played anything else for the past three months.. There is always loads to do, loads of bits to farm for..
It's one of those games I can never get bored of.
I just recently bought it with Wardlords of NY expansion on Ubisoft for £15. So far really enjoying it - well worth the money.
Got the basegame a while ago on a sale for 5 bucks, and now the DLC again for 5. I think its time to jump in haha.

Still my favourite game even just trying new set ups and roaming in the pve zones.
If a new player comes to this game they have their work cut out for them and a long road of grinding. It’s an almost impossible game for new casual players. It would be fun, but take SO long to level up

I loved playing Division 1 on my channel but it got so little views - but I did get Div 2 + Dlc so may give it a go sometime in the year.
Although beating the 1st for atmosphere & unique 2 doesn't hold the same love, but I;m sure I would enjoy it.

Honestly, I would say yes as well. There are a lot of bug and technical issues, sure. I am finding the theme to be unique still, it is a good one, although the narrative since WONY has kinda lost me due to mostly being told through Manhunt audio logs and a scant few cutscenes that...I don't even think are in the game anymore.
That said, I am back to playing it semi-regularly for some Manhunt stuff and the action is satisfying. I've given up Destiny 100% for good. At least with Division 1 and 2, if I want to participate during a season, I can, buying the pass only affords me more loot, and that's not a massive concern of mine. With Destiny, you HAVE to buy each season pass to participate in the seasonal activity, even though just logging in gets you the story updates. Ultimately, it's not worth it.
Division 1 and 2, I've always found to be a really good value. Again, TONS of things need fixing and updating and improving. But compared to Destiny which is an overpriced, overhyped mess, both Division 1 and 2 were very good products for what they cost.

If u get delta 03 just restart your game and console and that should fix it for like 3 to 5 hours play time

I played it for hours until the WONY expansion.
My critic on the game is the loot system. Until endgame out get a fairly good loot progression. In the endgame you find so much yellow and green loot which is 99.9% not usable and just fills up your backpack so that you have to spend more time to organize that as to play the game.
Also you do not have the feeling that you are progressing, because when your build is almost or is finished there is a so little chance to get an item to better that build.
The loot system has so many skills and values to combine so that getting the one item you need is just not possible.
That's why you use the Recalibration Bench, to help get your builds more dialed in.
I used to play the first game at my old office and I loved it, it has the perfect gameloops for me. Planning to get a PS5 soon and add Div2 in my early library. I'm pretty casual and not very competitive though, so a cheap second-hand copy will probably be enough. Thanks for the video!

would like to see what platform has the most average players in 2023/2024 as i am just getting back into this game starting from scratch on pc i had it on ps4 originally and dabbled a bit on my ps5 but ended up wanting to play on pc on my ultra ultra wide with hdr and all the goods i can till they make the new division 3 with raytracing and updated engines which im super excited for

Ubisoft has both 1 and 2 on sale for pc until April 4th. Div 1 base for 9.90 with the season pass for 5. Div 2 ultimate is 25 bucks, which includes warlords. Also they are giving you the last friend game free.

Div2 on sale is definitely worth it. Even if you just play through the game up until the end of WONY.
There is enough story and gameplay variation to keep you engage.
I came to it late last year and still enjoy it, the grind is real but that's my sort of thing.
Only wish they would drop the price of the Season1 pass because it would be nice to experience those missions.
It's not worth the price if you've already unlocked the specialisations.

I have been watching some vids on youtube as far as Gameplay of this game, and I have mostly great memories of both Div 1 and 2; overall great game if you can overlook the negatives; am considering getting it for My series S ... as the ultimate ed is on sale for 24 bucks.....might be hard to pas up. I liked Division 1 more than Division 2. Still plays it today. there is an increased player population during GE. The DZ in Div 1 was something else regarding the atmosphere and PvP. It's abandoned now and you can extract anything without Rogue player interruptions most time.

if you make a video called "is division worth playing in 2023" you know it's not worth playing anymore, i played the first division and absolutely loved it, played the current one for a year but got bored. i don't keep my hopes up when it comes to heartland but i hope it's going to be decent, i don't really mind if it's going to be p2w i like that element since i really don't have time to grind so much anymore but i hope they keep p2w stuff minimal.
I completed the base games of Division 1 and 2 - I've always enjoyed the gameplay but I the thought of gear management puts me off. You need an excel spreadsheet to keep track of gear stats in this game.
Although the game has its issues, I still find myself logging on and doing something.

I recently picked D2 back up after a long hiatus and now I can’t put it down. I am however disappointed they haven’t implemented a character migration for those like myself who have tons of hours invested on console who want to move to PC. I’ll probably still get it but the thought of grinding all that gear again makes my nauseous 🤦🏾♂️
loved the division 1 a lot just got this game the warlord expansion ultimate edition for $11.99
I've just started my first ever hardcore character and I'm having a blast. Using different builds than my normal way because you start with nothing, using skills I'd never use normally like the reviver hive.
Hardcore is definitely fun.
Wish they did more with hardcore though. Example you have to craft all gear. Only one weapon, skills are limited in use. Things like that. Would make it a lot more fun to play and replayability.

despite the bugs and crashes., The Division 2 was or is still one of the best looter shooter i've ever played for almost 8 years of gaming. I've never seen any competitor to this game, at least from my perspective. I'm glad I bought the game, truly!

Bought the Warlords of New York Edition for 9 Euros in Playstation. I thought this was a steal and i always wanted to check it out.
I don’t think it’s a hard question. Doesn’t matter how many problems I have with the development of this game and with how we got here (multiple dosen times they rebalanced our gear, the grind fest…), for the current price, you get a lot as a new player for not too much money. The graphics still hold up, ther’s a lot of content and the price balances out the bugs and net code problems. (Ubi store price)
I played 4 years ago and didn’t know about builds or anything so when I got to level 30 I kept getting my ass handed to me and quit…I picked it up again a month ago and have been a daily player….I go to bed playing in my head and watch a lot of videos on it. I even purchased d1 to play through and dive into the lore more

Look, the Division 2 has its flaws.

Actually it has a lot of flaws, bugs, glitches, crashes, and so much more that would turn away players. But if you stick with it just long enough you'll find the appeal.
I actually got the Division 2 around January of this year when it came to steam and got to Lvl. 1k around march. It was a tiresome grind, but I came to love the loop.
Farming gear, slowly increasing the stats of my equipment which then prompt me to go to hard difficulty and then challenging. (Heroic is still too much for me in the Open World)
It also helps if you can get yourself into a good clan. Mine's pretty quiet but those that come in drops a 'Hi' or 'Hello' on occasion.
And when a few of us come along, we'd go on Countdowns, bounty hunting, and get a few other players to tag along.
The community and devs also help the game get around the bugs too. Like that map glitch in season 10 that kept a lot of players trapped in New York.
I gave up on the notion that Division will ever be perfect. I'm pretty sure Ubisoft cut the budget on the game.
Heck, I can tell that the remaining dev team are holding this game together with nothing more than duct-tape, willpower, and the hope to see another paycheck.
But they're doing their best with the resources they have.
As long as they keep updating the game with some new content, I'm sure it'll attract new players.

This game is bossed up. The graphics really sell the desperation of the situation. Trash bags piled the fuk up to the 5th story window, burnt out cars and trucks where people been fighting, animals and vegetation taking over, vicious gangs out on the street, then going to places like the college, seeing children play remind you of what you're fighting for.
Got this for like 10 bucks a few years ago, and still play today.🙂

Both are solid games. Barring some issues here and there. I wanted to love both of them. What kept me from digging too deep was the effect the game had on a gaming clan I used to belong to/helped run. Some just sunk so deep into what can only be categorized as an addiction to the first one that it started to drive everyone apart. A group formed that just refused, outright at times, to acknowledge anyone who didn't play regularly. This is a group of people overall who had been gaming across CoD ArmA and dozens of other games for almost 10 years. When those people got called out on their actions, they just left and started their own group and cut themselves off. I know, it's not necessarily the game that did it, but it brought out some shit that I can't forget. That being said, I do enjoy playing both from time to time as some damn nice 3rd person shooters.

I don't understand why graphic cards manufacturers are not optimizing their cards to this game? Maybe that is giving clues as to the future of The Division 2? I have a high-end gaming PC and I still only get around 55-60 fps on this game, while on newer games I'm getting 170 fps at 4K. And what has happened to Countdown? At the initial start up, I get a disruption, then all players start leaving even before the game starts. I tried it for several days now and it gives me the same results in the Countdown mission only.

Do not buy this game for PC. There are constant crashes makes this game unplayable on PC. The community knows it. Ubisoft knows it. The community begs for fix. [Edit: Well Ubisoft does give a shit. Crashes are on their trello board. It's just crazy how they can't fix it.]
I had hope. I saw the trailer and stream about the Year 5 content. Downloaded the game right away. I couldn't spend 10 minutes in game and baam, the good ol' crash to the desktop hit me in the face.

it does work on steam deck now. I heard a few days ago it runs now after launching the Ubisoft app

I would have to advise against buying this game in 2023, I would tell someone interested in this game to actually purchase and play Ghost Recon Wildlands especially if you have a buddy or two.
As of today I would say no. 3 times in a row Countdown either DC'd half the people or both teams being dropped in at the same location,, hunters not spawning for almost a full minute. It's actually worse than before with this newest update or maintenance or whatever they want to call it. the frustration meter is off the charts for players, it's becoming quite toxic and that's not including the DZ(which is by far the most toxic place in the game). dont get me wrong I love this game and have been playing since launch, but if someone asked me if it was worth buying I would tell them about the issues that seem to constantly plague the game. No game has ever been this hard to keep running on my PC other than Outriders. After all the years this game has been out you would think they would've gotten their "Stuff" together. They added the expertise to add longevity to the game and also added some new apparel event, a new season, but these new contents wont matter if they cant keep the game running. as always thank you for the vid and you deserve the accolades bro, you have kept a lot of people interested in a game that just keeps breaking.

Got this on xbox one, i enjoy the setting and i had div1 as well but its the bullet sponging. Standing there emptying magazines upon magazines on one guy, moving onto the next. Made it very tedious.
Would I ever buy it again ? Yes, with caveats.
First, I would never buy within the first 18 months for 2 reasons: (1) addons and expansions are usually totally available as a package at the 18 month date. This applies to both Divisions and Ghost Recons. (2) Stability issues and computer requirements window are on balance established after 16 months, upgrades are cheaper, and you can evaluate upgrading for a set or games rather than just one.
This now applies to every game I consider,. I won't spend money on hardware for just one game, and I wish the glitz factor were less of a selling point so more people could play.

This game was on sale a couple months ago. I picked it up and play every day. I was going to get Hogwarts but didn't because I'm still having fun with this.
After about SHD watch 200 (which isnt a lot but its more than enough for a full review)
I would say Div2 wins if you like exploring the open world and having it feel "alive" because theres a lot of activities going on at all times. Now I say "alive" but its not "organic" div1 wins there because there isnt a lot of activities in the open world in div1 but the NPCs roaming around make it feel organic and not boring to explore.
Other than that Div1 for me hands down. Better atmosphere, DZ, missions, build variety, story, and better grind experience.
There is a Division mobile game coming out, hopefully soon because i just cant wait!
I think it is UbiSoft's best franchise, and Snowdrop is an amazing engine. I'm not sure how I feel about Homeland though and I am almost certain they will mess that up, as a F2P game that feels Watch Dogs and doesn't have the setting and feeling of a Division game. They should have just made The Division 3.
