    Nothing more restorative to mind, body and spirit than camping coffee in the woods!

    FOR COFFEE LOVERS, the day doesn't just begin with a good, hot cup of coffee-it seems almost impossible without it. It's not only the dose of caffeine that does the trick, although that does help. It's also the ritual that surrounds it-the smell, the sound, even the wait are all a part of how coffee gets the day started right.

    At 52 I just started dabbling in coffee. Started last season with BRCC instant and graduated to whole bean. This looks to be a new addition to my camping box. I suggest Black Rifle Coffee Company Silencer Smooth. It is terrific.

    Great video. I do have a question. When you turn off the gas/heat, how long will the pot of coffee stay hot? Thanks.

      I always take my Stanley thermos for when the coffee is finished. Keeps it hot all day!

    Stupid question alert. I have this and we currently use it with our camp stove double burner propane. But I'm thinking about getting a one burner and I can only find butane burners. That's OK right? Its about 8000 btu but butane

    Are you still happy with your coffee maker? I've heard of people having difficulty leveling them and the machine doesn't work properly.

    How does the coffee stay warm after you turn off the stove? thanks

    • @LetsGoNowAdventures
      @LetsGoNowAdventures  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Jim, I use the "pause and pour" feature for the first cup. I may have been guilty of letting the burner go a few minutes after the brewing is done. But you are right, it does start to cool after you turn the burner off.

    • @monteclark1115
      @monteclark1115 Před 2 lety

      I suppose you can turn the burner really low and put the pot directly on the burner. The instructions for every coffee pot says not to do that but I see people do it all the time.

      After you brew your coffee, put it in a Stanley type thermos to keep it warm.
