FLORIDA: The BEST roads of the sunshine state - Ozello trail + Casey Key all the way to MIAMI

- Travel through Florida, and discover its most scenic roads: From the Ozello Trail to Clearwater and Casey Key, from Florida's westcoast to Florida's eastcost all the way to Miami.
Welcome, to the final ride. Welcome, to my final destination. Welcome, to a motorcycle roadtrip through the Sunshine State Florida!
Here are my highlights and the best roads to ride on a motorcycle in Florida:
- OZELLO TRAIL: Route 494, or the so called Ozello Trail heads out toward the Gulf of Mexico. The road winds and twists for nine miles or 14 kilometers through St. Martin’s Aquatic Wildlife Preserve. The 67 turns and spectacular marshland scenery in my opinion make it the best motorcycle ride of the state Florida.
- CLEARWATER BEACH: Clearwater Beach includes a resort area and a residential area on the Gulf of Mexico. Clearwater Beach is characterized by white sand beaches stretching for 2.5 miles or 4 km along the Gulf and sits on a barrier island. It has a full marina and is linked on the south by a short bridge to another barrier island called Sand Key.
- SUNSHINE SKYWAY BRIDGE: Following Interstate 275 south, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a toll road, for $1.50 connecting St. Petersburg, Florida to Terra Ceia.The current Sunshine Skyway opened in 1987 and is the second bridge of that name on the site.
- CASEY KEY: The route over Casey Key takes you along the beach with amazing mansions and beautiful scenery. Casey Key is a tiny 8-mile or 13 kilometers long barrier island between Venice and Sarasota and has only one road - a narrow twisting lane through a residential neighborhood of spectacular houses.
- MIAMI: Yes, you of course have to ride in Miami when visiting Florida!

Regardless of facts, people, time or occasion, the journey always goes on, our road never ends. Here on this material plane of life we use a body and accessories necessary for that body so that it is well. This body is our vehicle here, but we are not originally from here. As the consciousness that we really are, our home is the universe and traveling is our destination. But it is necessary to remember that there are new beginnings, because before there was an end. Every day we have beginnings and ends, but the journey continues forever. A tender and very respectful kiss to you for having shared with us a little of your earthly journey. And may the supreme wisdom continue to provide you with many Kilometers, of lives and stories. There are many beauties and fantastic places in this world, in fact, I love ridding too. But life has taught me that there is no richer and more rewarding road to travel than the one we have inside. The one that takes us to the greatest of destinations, the greatest of encounters, which is who we truly are, with our own essence. If the earthly journey does not somehow transform us from within, it will not have been in vain, but it will not have been complete.

We've just moved back to Florida and are enjoying the hidden places that few know about. There is a lot more to the state than what's happening on the coasts, so many canopied roads that are like riding through a garden wilderness, but never too far from civilization.
We really enjoyed riding with you through this great country and I'm glad there were those who made you feel welcome.

They call stars. Each of them has a name....
I feel a breeze of change with a musical background.
Little by little it is overlaid by the sound of water in swirls of emotions, such waves of inspiration blow in this song.
Sometimes..., song and images mean a lot more than complex words can mean... Why does destiny push us into a amaze of emotions and feelings and we never know that we already inside it..., not because of our choice but destiny wanted it so...
Hight in the blue sky, I see clouds, hills, mountains, trees, rivers, animals...
Good things, bad things.
I'm too high, the sun set arrives and whrite over the hills..., i' been here and I will be here again, like a shadow I leave, like a light I'm back...
Burning column of dust runs from the rear wheels, the smell of the dry earth mix with burnt fuel...the roar of the engine is lost in time and in heart of the adventure. Ride like a eagle and see the great canyon of emotions, waves of tears bursting on her face, suddenly emerges from inside a force of will, of happiness, a look of joy, a frank nod..... Mission complished!
I have reached the extreme,... I see waves kissing the sweet sand...
A peace take me on the wings of the gods.
Winds of letters...,seas of dreams, echo in the book I never written and that travels with a flag mounted on a Harley...
Slowly a leaf is released, it twirls, gives off a smile, fly over the beach and says goodbye to flight towards a direction, a destination only a compass wil know....

Thank you for your journey and sharing it with us. It was educational as well as fun. We had a chance to do one of our favorite to do trips which was Rte 66 from Cali to Missouri. Breathtaking and fun. Met the nicest people, ate at the strangest places and learned a lot of our beautiful country. Kingsman, Winslow, Tecumcary, Shoshone… The journey never ends, Carpe Diem

Nice you literally rode within 15 minutes of me between Crystal River and Clearwater. Showed a lot of places I ride. Just now is when I feel like it’s riding season. Spring and summer are way to hot.

Lea, this Season was great and the last episode in Florida really funny ( the little Tank fuc***) I love Florida with its beaches and the relaxed 😎 lifestyle. Next time you should go less on interstates. I try to always use highways as the biggest roads. Hope you are feeling better today and that the Tik bite will not compromise you any more. ❤️ Stefan
In Florida it’s actually not so easy (and not that much fun) to avoid the interstate because it is literally the road closest to both coast in many parts. But yes, next time I have hopefully more time, I had to cut this trip as well shorter than I thought because I had to go back to Germany earlier than expected.
