- A brief visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park was shortened by surrounding wildfires, but not before Park Junkie got a couple of quick hikes under his belt.
A beautiful morning hike to Kings Creek Falls, Bench Lake & Sifford Lake was followed by an afternoon hike to the famous Cinder Cone, which provided a fabulous view of the Painted Dunes & the Fantastic Lava Beds.

One of our hidden gems here in Northern California ♥️
Ya, a great unknown park!
This was absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing this with us! 😊🥾🥾
Thanks for watching! Lassen is a cool park, but sometimes frustrating to visit due to early or late winter snows, which cut off much of the access to the park. Smoke from summer fires can easily ruin your warm weather visit as well… but, rad park!
The trees on the dunes looks so surreal
Crazy that they find footing in there…
Who owns the Park?
The taxpayers
You do… so we’re told.
