I've been living in Jomtien for a few months and used to go to the Big C extra in Pattaya, for my fortnightly big food shop. Then I discovered Makro in Jomtien. Much closer, and much bigger. Get yourself to Makro mate.

Easiest route from Jomtien beach is to go up Chaiyapreuk Rd (where baht buses turn, Gold Monkey on corner) and then go straight thru first set of lights (at Pussy Galore), don't turn onto 2nd rd, just go straight on, then all the way up to busy junction/traffic lights and take a left - onto Sukhumvit Road. From there its about 2 km down the road, and you can't miss it on the left side - big parking area.
Mate you always say their is nothing in soi2 there is a ATM at the top lol but I am not impressed by you using your phone to pay for stuff keep it cash the uk is short of people paying in cash if people start paying like you we going to lose it (cash) mate KEEP IT CASH
She said you get a 7 day big c gaurantee on the bbq. You can also ask the staff to test the electrical appliances before you take them home to make sure they work😅

You’re wrong , there is actually a branch of Bangkok branch on the ground floor , with 3 ATM, mate it takes less than 2 minutes to walk from one end of Big C to the other, if you went in the main entrance and turned right it would not have taken you 30 seconds to find the bank

When im there for April-May, I totally plan to do some cooking because I know there will be days where I will not feel like going out or dont want to go out until later.

ATMs are always outside and near the entrance of all Big Cs, if the actual Big C shop is on the ground floor then the ATM follows, if on the first floor ditto,
see you're settling in nicely, learning to live in town and take advantage of the best deals. Some of the old sensible guys out there will throw you some good ideas, if you're lucky. But you're doing a good job of finding it all out for yourself. Good 3 month marker

Big C is like a cross between a UK supermarket from the 70/80s and Woolworths. You could have gone to Lotus's (formerly Tesco) if you had turned right at the traffic lights on road 3 instead of left.
Was in Big C in January and I paid contactless with my UK Lloyds debit card. But great video. And on Tesco/ Lotus's I went in for a pint of milk but came out having purchased a gold ring. But we still talk, she is expecting a Valentine's gift tomorrow@@welshboywebby

There are multiple ATM in the Big C you visited, clearly not very observant, and as for the food court, well what do you expect, you buy a value card, and then at the end, you return to the kiosk and get a refund on any balance, using a scan system for that is absolutely ridiculous, that is why the do not do it, grow up for gods sake!

better to get pork , chicken , fish from the markets , a hell of a lot cheaper ....... instead of beef steaks teach yourself to eat more pork .... Pork Fillet cut across about 1.5 inches thick into a medallion and grill or bake , BBQ the same as you would a steak ........ get pork mince and season to your liking for burgers , rissoles ........ I WOULD NOT EAT THE THAI BEEF , it has a shit taste to it and all the time I have had it was tough as old boots and imported beef N.Z OR AUST is way too expensive .......... you can do a lot with pork ....... PORK BELLY as one piece for roasting in your air fryer , if you haven't one then get one , no mess easy to use. now get that cooking show on the road
