As an EVE player for the last decade and a half I thought your comment about the learning curve being brutal was so cute I had to subscribe. 😜
I feel like this Game needs a Better Tutorial. Like I assigned a couple of trucks to the Tree Harvester but only one of them is actually Delivering Goods to the Furnace. I don't know how to tell the trucks where to drop off their Cargo.
Great video, brilliant content, thanks Abfielder!
Much appreciated!
Thank you so much for your video. I hope the next one comes soon
Thank you for the comment. Will be working on it soon!
Maybe I need more practice with it but I do think that the mining designation tool is a bit difficult to work with and often doesn’t do what I want it to.
Great video!
Thank you
As nice as it is that you went through and talked about just about everything, the one thing I really hate with tutorials like this is when the person says things like "I think" or "I want to say". It's a tutorial video. If you don't know what it is, why are you making a tutorial??
Also, you said you "hadn't found a way to affect that (being Unity) positively" and that "it's probably something for later in the game", but yet the Unity is immediately shown as being positive as soon as you put down a Research station. Again, you made a tutorial video and then you don't even know enough about the game for this to be a good tutorial.
Imagine you watch a cooking video and the person says "You're now going to pick up this thing... I think it's a spatula? And then you're going to mix in this powder, I think it's pepper?" How annoying would that be? It's a cooking video. They should know what they're doing. That's the point of making a video and posting it. Know what you're talking about.
Though, and this may sound harsh, maybe I should view this video as a "tutorial made by a beginner" (since the title says "Beginners Tutorial". There's no apostrophe (aka ') after the r but before the s, meaning this isn't a "beginner's tutorial", it's a, presumably, a tutorial for beginners. But the way you talk and do things in this video make it sound like you're the beginner.
