people don't understand boxing. the only reason why nunes was a punching bag was simply because kenny's jab was insanely fast, insanely well timed, and very hard to read. not many non fighters understand why fighters and trainers say a good jab is incredibly strong. this is the reason. it can shut down an entire fight if used correctly. after 3 jabs at the start of the fight, you see nunes realise he's fucked. i've personally fought a few people like this, and it is honestly the worst feeling. fear sets in and you're afraid to move, worrying it will come out of nowhere again
facts. i was very impressed how well he was using different guards aswell. his head movement. his punch variety went trough the roof and footwork aswell. just everything on point. he was rlly intune with everything like at one point he was fighting like emanual augustus(drunken master)🤣🤣 loved it frl!!

I don’t think people are understanding a great jab can win you a fight alone. Nunes couldn’t find his range, establish his rhythm, or put anything together because of Kenny’s jab and knowledge of distance. Whinderson ain’t bad Kenny just shut everything down

@@Octapheaeah this scene is really flip-flop based. The minute someone gets “dominated” it’s “the opponent wasn’t all that good” “they’re fighting tomato cans”, “they were never good to begin with”. No it’s just you guys (I.e the Influencer Boxing fans) sense of knowledge and appreciation on the sport is lackluster. Just because someone didn’t meet your expectations doesn’t mean they aren’t good, ya just made an oversight on their skill and their opponent. That’s one of the things I hate about this scene

The man showed at least some understanding of knowing what to do once he’s in a rhythm. His issue lies with just people that are more knowledgeable and experienced than him. So generalizing me with “you all” seems redundant. I see holes in everyone’s game and his were glaring from day one with when he fought Popo. When he fights with someone with more experience, someone that knows how to use a jab, his head stays on the centerline. He freezes up a bit. He hasn’t fought long enough to know what to do against someone of a skill level higher than his. Which is why I think he loses that Jarvis fight as well. Although Jarvis doesn’t jab effectively either

Best display of skill out of any influencer boxing match i've seen.
Kenny showed a lot of boxing maturity in this even though he played around a bit. Even when he landed a good shot he didn't get hectic and chose his shots, that's something a lot of them have trouble with. He used his jab well and figured out his reach early on also.

Gib vs Kenny will be good! Kenny showed a real understanding of boxing to slow things down and process his opponent. And he seems to be getting faster. Kenny really settled in quick and his confidence and experience served him well. Gib and Kenny both have good endurance but the reach Kenny has is gonna be tough for gib. Gib may have to take some big risks to win, to really get in close and make it an ugly fight. Kenny should press his advantage more and not be hesitant to try to finish a hurt opponent, because we all know when gib is hurt of knocked down he comes back strong. Gib has huge heart. Kenny should win the finals but only if he goes in with intent to really hurt gib and keep hurting him because gib doesnt have any mercy in the ring.
