Just so amazingly useful knowledge shared in all your vids. Was watching the T5 engine swap for light entertainment then you mentioned the clutch had gone on the alternator and it made the belt slap. I was thinking dam my mk5 golf does that, what do you know it doesn't anymore thanks to you. Thank you so much for sharing this, it's proper help for us idiots!
Hey bud thank you so much for the kind words 🙏 I’ve worked in my garage for well over 10 years and I’ve seen a lot of broke cars and parts, it’s over the years I’ve been able to work out how to fix things easier and cheaper, most people would have put a tensioner on you golf or a bottom pulley and the noise would have still been there, I found out fast that it’s always the alternator pulley that makes the noise. Since focusing on just making videos I don’t want to earn money from peoples pockets job by job that took the enjoyment of the job away I now just scrape a living making videos. I enjoy sharing all the little tips and tricks I’ve picked up with you guys for completely free it makes my day when I get comments like yours I literally feel job satisfaction without fixing anything so thank you again for your kinds words it keeps me enthusiastic about making videos 🤙

I did this on my mk3 a few months ago. i went for 24% on the bottom bar, for a perfect brightness match.

I done this mod to my 2012 1.6tdi VW Caddy about 2 years ago, I fitted the OE tinted LED ones, with no access to vag com, I wired a resistance into the reverse light wiring, but have to make do with the "F" tail lights...

2012 need vagcanpro to get the lower bar working. Also you can code out one reverse light+ fault. 👍🏼

I might order a set for my early 2007 VW Caddy TDI 1.9 (BLS). My rear left side is cracked so I need a replacement. I found a set like yours for $200AUD. That's a good price. The 2007 ones are a similar price.
I gotta finish my side exit exhaust. You should hear it, lol. I gutted the cat and am only running 1 metre of stainless pipe that dumps just behind the cab, lol. She sounds like a mini Cummins.

did this to mine last year had vcds for some time now, i think i did mine at 24% after playing about with them lol, and like you say not much info out there with coding bit like trying to join the magic circle with the caddy's 😂👍

Hi bud thank you so DTE is abbreviated from DobTechEngineering, it was the channel name in the very early days but abit of a mouthful. My second name is dobson and I like to make and remake things so if it’s broke or needs making better then it’s abit of DobTechEngineering to the rescue 🤙

Where did you get the software from.
The vcds ive purchased is the same release as yours but looks different. Mine doesn't have the loading % in green.
In the coding helper it doesnt have the bit 2 opinion as yours. Mine says comfor type for sunroof lol.
Not sure if its the aliexpress software lol

Hey francis thank you 🙏 I mentioned before I’m saving the money for a new camera so it’s not wasted anything I earn from CZcams I put back into the channel, I have no desire to be rich I just want food in my belly and on my families plates and enjoy what I do everyday. Since closing the workshop a a little while back I have be very tight of money but I will keep making videos and hopefully one day I won’t have to worry about money. Thank you again

When you say VCDS works on vehicles upto 2010 and anything over needs another program, does that mean over 2010 being 2011 or 2009.

Help needed I'm new caddy lover I live in Fareham near Southampton so about to far to come and see you in deal lol so my story is my next door neighbour had a 04 caddy sitting in his parking space for 2 years looking sorry for it self as he cashed it it was a light front end so after months of trying it get the van off him he gave in and let me buy it off him so I watched your video and I've managed to change the same panel and get the van bk together but i can't get the wings to click in to the dumper again what am I doing wrong everything line up but both sides of the wings dip in by the lights
Is there any way I can sent you a pic I trying to get the van back on the road and come to blue water at the end of the month

Hi all, so I’ve tried doing this this evening and passenger side works but drivers side doesn’t work at all, but I’ve followed the wiring diagrams to a T, I’m so confused
Hi bud so I would get a multimeter and test what wire does what, turn the indicator on and find what wire it is then look inside the light and follow the indicator metal track back to the pin and put the wire into that hole. Repeat this for all of the wires and you should be able to do it 👍
