    Love it Dan.
My covid project was vamping my blue 56 plate Caddy which was driven into in summer 2020.
    it involved:
Colour change total respray to Audi Brilliant Black.
    Touran front bumper
Colour coded Everything (rub strips, mirrors, b pillar trims, dash, wheels, steering wheel trim, door handles etc.
    Sound deadening.
    Semi ply lined.
    carpet lining
Faux suede lining throughout the cab (major ballache, that one) which transforms how it feels.
Audi A8 powered/heated black leather seats. Yes they fit and they're the bomb.
Audio install with sub under drivers seat
    black mask headlights
    tinted rear lights
    tinted rear windows
    inernal light upgrades
Company deacl oversized logos all over.
    etc etc.
I learned from you. so thanks.
    I must take pics.
    Keep it up dude.

As a car-mechanic, I know the airbag stories are heavily over-exaggerated and all hearsay.
An airbag is not powered to get triggered, it's only powered when needed.
The only thing the ECU does at power-up is measuring for continuity.
When installing an airbag nothing will happen.
      Neither is hitting it.
