Music video by Roxy Music performing Re-Make/Re-Model (Live At The Royal College Of Art). - Hudba
how lovely that the 80th Century transdimensional alien rockers decided to stop by in the 70s and 80s and drop off some of their musical compositions for a brief moment.
OH YEAH I COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF MEMPHIS DAN LELOLAI
😅😅😂😂😂
The 80th century transdimensional ALIEN rockers just "stopped by " and impart us mere mortals with some of their musical compositions.. That's an understatement...
You sure this is a live performance?
@@picardbsthe vid prob’ly. Audio sounds like the album version. Which is mighty fine by me.
No matter what you call them--glam, art rock, avant-garde, progressive or new wave, this was quite simply flippin' incredible.
Punk as well.
@@watashiiruDefinitely the beginning of it!
They pioneered about 1000 genres.
you should be a journalist.@@zlrs0113
The single note sax solo will always be a triumph of man.
This comment deserves more credit
Oh, to be young again, back in the 70s, discovering Roxy Music...
Hell yeah
I don't think those are special effects, I think Bryan Ferry just emits blue energy.
No matter how old it gets, this music will always sound like the future.
Totally agree
well said, always new to me !
Paul Thompson's drumming on the intro is blood pumping. What a killer way to kick off the record.
Reminds me of Rat Salad
Yeah ! A kindred soul :) Paul was for me the unsung hero of this elite group
Every musician is terrific....to say nothing of the marvelous Bryan Ferry! A lasting example of perfection in the annals of music.
Agree 👍👍
Why were they never recognised as one of the most influential bands of all time, Bryan’s warbling voice, and the mix of sax, drums and rock n roll make this a masterpiece of style
Whaddya mean, "never recognised as one of the most influential bands of all time"?!! They certainly were in the UK. Roxy and Bowie influenced more bands and solo artists than anyone else. The Roxy-inspired list is very long. You aren't American, by any chance?
Stooges was before that with "fun house" (mix of sax) and hawkwind was cool with that
@@doctorbpemenu9774 You can't possibly compare Roxy to Iggy and the Stooges or Hawkwind. I love The Stooges but please. And Hawkwind? Get a grip!
They are, of course.
Brian Eno, legend.
Saw their first gig - supporting Bowie in Croydon (yes, really). Awesome!
saw them on their first tour at newcastle city hall, and their 2nd tour, and their third, and their 4th, and........
Lucky old sod!!!
Wow! Super cool. Must have been a blast!
You lucky bleeder!
That wasn't the 1st gig.. So, no.
Love the Day Tripper bass part.
Found Roxy Music by chance in 1978 I was 14. Punk was finished and all these cracking post punk bands and new wave bands were kicking of in the UK. At the local record store I saw the cover for For Your Pleasure. And that was me. A Roxy fan for life.
Country Life ! ooh la la 😊
This is earlier performance I’ve seen by Roxy Music. I’m guessing late 1971. What a great performance!!
😉👏👏
My favorite Roxy period.
The best "outro" of any rock song.
Incredible! It's like a twenty course meal of your favorite foods!
I envy anyone hearing this for first time.. Will forever be THE greatest opening track of ANY album.
I'm so happy I got to see Roxy Music in their prme. The show at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium is still one of the best concerts I've ever seen. This song and In Every Dream Home a Heartache were mind-blowing😢
Just heard (the part where they're all taking turns playing solo's) for the first time in a documentary and was surprised
Even with the muddy sound, it’s great! It taps into the essence of rock.
here is another version with the same Roxy Music band (with Eno, Andy Mackay, etc..) and a better sound :

I think it's supposed to sound like that.
Ferry un prince d'un conte improbable qui fascine!!
Love the bass player doing "Day Tripper."
Was fascinated when i heard it for the first time. And Paul Thompson is a master !!
Brian Eno, amazing as always
can you belive, first hearing this at the roxy theater in Toronto in early 70;s.
Like all the GREATS They were Completely Unique..Love Roxy Music..What a GREAT BAND ⭐️🌞❤️
This isn't live btw. It's the album version - except in extreme lo-fi. They're miming.
Roxy Music, the best band ever.❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎
This is such a great high energy song, I remember it. It was great fun at house party's. And its also good for blasting on the way to and from work.
I was 4 years old when this came out. WOW
Just found this song. Bloody brilliant
what? you need to go through the first 4 albums which are the best imo
This song knocked mi socks off the first time I heard it & it still does!
And Roxy had great musicians!
Seen 5 Times 1972...........Brilliant
Classic song and what an amazing video. So ahead of its time and out of its time
Bryan Ferry,😍😍😍
First heard this while skirting the asteroid belt of Saturn, never been the same since
Super Musik die ich heute immer noch höre!!
Wow!! I'm jaded after that!! I had no idea they went back that far as a group!! That took me on a acid trip!!
Great rare clip too bad the audio is muddy, Eno and Manzanara are creating some supersonic sounds!
Ferry explained in an interview that Eno and MacKay's backing vocal chorus of "CPL 593H" was the number plate of the car in which the woman is riding.
GREAT BAND !!
Glorious !
Ah ' those lovely seventies.
👽
Just incredible. For some reason the track makes me laugh 😂 . Joyous and.. just far out… really far out 👨🚀 💕
I've always loved Bryan ferret.
ahhhhh the 70's
Love Roxy Music.
This kicks ass on so many levels.
Incredible. It doesn't get better.
Amazing prog hard rock and more
It's not live - it's lip-synced to the studio recording. Cool to see, though.
THANKS FOR THIS UPLOAD THIS VIDEO
Early MAGIC 70ies !
The USA never embraced Roxy Music commercially 1top 40. Never understood it , they are still timeless
Embraced in the music cities like NY, LA, Detroit, Cincinnati, Boston, but the rest of the country was clueless.
@@sukie584 WBCN Boston in the early 70s
This is the original studio version, so you can just mute the video and listen to it from your library at the same time. : )
Eno is the true star of the show.
Here is the best version of Roxy Music, with Eno of course, and Andy Mackay, they were so outstanding !
@@tarantellalarouge7632With or without Eno, Roxy Music made some great music
@@Hal9000ize I agree totally with you, I love Roxy Music anyway, and I am still listening their music very often (Amazona, Song for Europe ....etc...) Eno was the cherry 🍒on the (decadent) cake !🎂
waiting in anticipation , what else can anyone say but raise hell Roxy no soft . . . . please
So So Good Eno is the boss Then Frank Black :D!!!!!!!
This is exactly the audio we have on the 1972 roxy music debut album. Was the track recorded live? Or the video doesn't correspond to the audio?
badass footage
Que potencia para ser 1972
The rendition in the Glastonbury 2014 concert is TOP.
Roxy at their prime.
Just discovering this band...
1st 3 albums bestest ever
@@truffywuffwuff I tell you what- I am highly intrigued and very interested in the musical stylings and the instrumentation efforts of these musicians. it just seems otherworldly good as if it's almost too good yet I have never found this before recent. I'm surprised.
There’s a reason Roxy are giants. I’m fact there are many.
i need similar songs
EEEEENO , MAN....🎹🔥👊
I'm a big fan of Roxy but I don't think this is live, at least the video doesn't agree with the audio. Perhaps "Live At The Royal College of Art" means the video is from a live concern, while the audio is from the studio album. Not complaining, just it would be surprising if they could play it live exactly as it is on the album. Especially Eno's part since it's with an analog synth and Phil's guitar riffs and fills.
Perfect
That was so sick 🤢🦠
This is the studio version from their debut album.
I can talk talk talktalk myself to death
Also slowed down speed to capture the notes it's a whole new world since the 70s
Any chance meeting to hear BF?
I could talk talk talk myself to death!!!!
I could talk talk talk and talk myself to death, but I believe I would only waste my breath.
I love that line. I go crazy singing it 😊
So this is where they got the cover shot for Viva! The Live Roxy Music Album from. Huh. Time really does reveal all secrets.
GREAT Glam look! High Marks emin.
just a strange great band
Too bad it wasn't live. Very cool to see though.
This is punk? Wow
Greatest band to come from these Islands by a mile. Bowie greatest solo artist. End of.
No argument from me there!
Out fucking standing
Glam rock masters
❤❤
No one cares about your crappy beer, Budweiser. I WANT TO SEE ROXY MUSIC
CPL 593H - Is that a vehicle registration number?
Yes!!!
What's not to like?
L.L.kool Ray the video and audio quality :/
Are you listening Gen Z post lockdown young people....this time next time is the best time we all know...ditch the mobile join our world
Eno a genius
Dylan Jones.......thanks.
CPL593H , great song ! Great band !

@@letsgobrandon. why can't she step forward and identify herself????????
I am torn regarding the Day Tripper bass fill. Not sure if it was an homage to The Beatles or a slap in the face being that it was only a bass fill. Because this was early post Beatles glam England, I think it may have been a slap in the face.
OMG
And the same year, in Italy: Per proteggere l'enorme Maria - SimonLuca. 😂
A Justin Bieber ad in front of a Roxy Music video? Has the world really come to this, that you have to try and associate teenie trash with rock legends?
Is the bass fill meant to sound like Day Tripper?
In short, yes.
Well, Day Tripper would still be ringing in people’s ears from only a short time before.
Elrond!
😂
L'audio va migliorato,si sente poco
Anybody know what means CPL593H?
And, where is that car?
Vi pregherei di postare lo stesso video con un audio più forte.E vorrei ritrovare anche il video originale di "Virginia Plain".Grazie!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fantastic. Oh to be 14 again.
Audio needs an upgrade
