Nah Californian Reapers are the hottest currently, it was ghost peppers that got upstaged by a different pepper, the reaper, the reaper is a bit more than 2x as hot as the ghost. The way they reacted would be tame for even just a habanero. Drying isn't meant to lose heat, and those aren't even the right colour for most reapers (they would be a deep red when dried). They aren't a 'snack' pepper though, the packets labelling is probably lying, and that is probably for the best.

It's usually something that goes semi viral that gains you subs. E.g. Yogs with the original Minecraft (soi), Syndicate with his Minecraft series (forgot what it's called), CaseyNestait with his later vlogs, Pewdiepie with his happy wheels play through. Some youtubers are pretty active in my recommended section for 'pubg' now too because they have the best gameplay/videos on it and are gaining subs fast. The lads have great humour but their content isn't anything that'll hit the recommend section atm and hence the little sub gain
