    BT thank you for the truly great and helpful videos.
    I am a complete novice having played craps for literally a couple of sessions only, I'm from UK and unfortunately craps is something of a rarity over here . I just came back from a first trip to Vegas and it seemed to me that newbies like me, that would pick up and shake the dice then roll them across the table, would 7 out with alarming speed and consistency. It really only took a couple of days for me to see the clear anecdotal first hand evidence that setting and throwing technique had a much better hit rate for going on a run and also that pulling down your bets is key to a successful session. Needless to say i soon attempted to set and throw and whilst I'm far from being a pro shooter I did get some runs going. I am now well and truly hooked on this game and would like to say a massive thank you for speeding up my education massively. If only I'd found your videos before I went!

    I’ve watched your videos several times, and I had not noticed how the casino will change things up for me when I throw. However, yesterday, I used the dice sets you show here, and have been winning on a consistent level. I was one throw away from the all small, tall and all, and had won about $500 on the roll. Right after that they pulled all the red dice and brought in blue dice. Table went cold but I was already gone shortly after! I waited for a new table to open and won another $200. Thanks for sharing your videos!

    Well done BT...I must be getting better watching you... I have been trying one of your other methods of play using the controlled random. But instead of letting the dice set be random I have about 4 dice sets I was rotating thru depending on what the dice landed on the last throw. It has been working so far; had a couple of 7's on come-out rolls and a couple of 7 outs after 3 or 4 rolls but over all it has been a good strategy. One run I had over 30 throws before the 7 out. Now today I wake up and see this video and was like hay cool I am thinking like BT now. Been getting my 4 or 5 hits pressing each hit then get the heck out and play the pass line. If the roll ends up turning into a monster run no worries as I start with at least $12 on the 6 & 8 and if I hit them I place the winnings on the 5 & 9 then keep going like usual for 5 hits or so then rinse and repeat. You and CK have sure opened up my eyes on how to master this game. A big ---THANK YOU!

I noticed after a few that he started stacking his chips up high to try to throw my shot but I just laughed and thought what would BT and CK do and tried like heck to take the top off his stack every throw and I ended up raking in some nice cash. He of course walked away pissed. You will develop a thick skin after a few bumps.

      Much gratitude fellas.Skin is much thicker after this last round, learning all the tough lessons out the gate. Trusting instincts ,The chatty dealers, talking about bullshit like they're by the water cooler. This isn't break time. By all means I tip,take care of and respect my dealers for common decency sake, some are even cool,but i met the ones who like to play the jinx, the cunning trickster who two faces friendship as his pusher man bait. Take a lonely guy and make him feel at home at the table kind of dealer
      I wish he was on the other side, I would have. He had money to piss away and wanted the table to himself don't think y'all know, or maybe you do , how encouraging it is just to read this. And big "hats off" to you BT for being this platform to have this kind of support, I really needed it.
      I wanted to leave but I thought, like how your situation ended up James Howard, just that I'd win to spite him. Couple low sighs and getting pissed at me for doing what a good shooter is supposed to and he taught me what a S.O. feels like coming out of my hand.I let him effect confidence in my bet, that's what hurt my money. Thinking of a series to combat these kinds of stumbling blocks, maybe a book, we can collect experiences then decide the royalties

    Okay, I seem to ask a lot of questions. In this video you talk about your "SOR". What does that stand for and how do I figure out what mine is?

    • @bonethrower1957
      @bonethrower1957  Před 6 lety

      S.O.R. seven out ratio. Basically tells you what your throw count is on a particular throw. So now you would have an idea how long you throw a set. You can then pull your bets out before you hit that seven. It called knowing your throw. Example if you throw the same way every time you go the casino. And you can throw the dice about 10 or 12 times generally before you seven. That would be your s.o.r.

    • @cindysmith7929
      @cindysmith7929 Před 6 lety

      So if I have recorded throwing the dice 100 times with the same dice set and I throw 10, 7's my SOR would be 10? Meaning I'm averaging tossing a 7 once out of every 10 throws and I should start pulling my bets (when I'm throwing that dice set) around toss number 9?

      It's your throw indicator and let you know how long you throw in a particular throw till you usually hit a 7. Once you become a controller you can usually repeat your throws to around a certain count every time so this allows you to know that and it's a good indicator to learn how to pull reduce or turn off your bets so you win more often.
