I'm really hoping that your doctor didn't dismiss how you achieved the reversal of your diabetes! That should have been a pivotal moment for the way he practiced medicine. Great interview!
🍪I guess I’m 1 of the “silent majority” that enjoys & shares your videos w/others-but seldom comment here. I so appreciate you helping support “some the small creative guys“ like CHIPMONK-who are making a BIG difference for so many of us who must restrict carbs but still enjoy great tasting food! I kicked my diabetes the same way Jose did - I told my doctor “Let me try to modify my diet first, before I try any RX”.

This was a good interview. I do like to bake and when people at work told me I should sell them, I added up the cost of ingredients for a batch of cookies like a basic chocolate chip and the cost was high. Being a frugal person all my life, there was no way I could charge what I would need to charge to make even a small profit, so I never got into selling. I completely understand what keto products cost and we enjoyed the chipmonk cookies we tried so far.
Whenever I get a comment about a keto bakery charging too much, I say "you should start your own bakery and charge what you think is fair price." So few people know how much it costs to operate a business - especially in the keto food space.
Their coconut cookie is our favorite but the white chocolate macadamia is a close second. The cookie bites are even better straight out of the fridge. I cannot eat sugar alcohols and I appreciate the fact that they don't use any.
What an awesome interview. This word needs to get out to all-dispelling the facts that eating Keto is not good for you.

I have a new appreciation for the small Keto companies production and distribution! I'm one who likes to make my own food but needs a break from cooking now and then. Ironically, the T2D diagnosis/Metformin prescription is exactly how I began my Keto journey. I also reversed the T2D through strict diet, rather than meds. 👍

The only problem I have is my non-keto family members stealing my cookies. 🤦♀️ I have to “squirrel” away my lemon ones or I won’t even get a sniff of them. Fantastic interview. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope it inspires more people not just us diabetics to think about what they're eating and make changes for their health. It is possible to reverse T2 diabetes. I went from an HbA1c of 6.7 to a normal 5.4 in just a few months, lost 30+ lbs. got off metformin, blood pressure meds, acid reflux meds, no longer have IBS etc...

I went from 7.0 to 4.7 by exercising daily for an hour of walking and changed my foods. Now I'm fasting with Dr. MindyPelz, doing keto and LOVE it. Mental clarity. We are what we eat for sure. Great interview. :)

That was a great interview. Nice to hear their story about how they started out. They are one of the only keto companies that I regularly order from, they're products are really good.
The cinnamon snickerdoodle, Shamrock bites and tiramisu sandwich cookies are my favorites. I use Allumonk to make keto cheesecake, key lime pie, bbq sauce and more. Great products and shipping is awesome.
Shamrock?! That is one flavor I haven't seen in my local grocery store! I bet it's amazing!

Yes, the cookies are more expensive but it’s supposed to be a treat, not a staple in your diet.

@Nancy Vasquez I reversed diabetes with “clean” Keto and intermittent fasting. Went from 7.1 to 5.1 in about 5 months! Lost 47 pounds and I’m 70! If I can, you can! You CAN!

Exactly the reason why I have switched to this lifestyle. Diabetes runs in my family and I am aware of the fact that I may be predisposed if I stayed on the high carb road. Great testament guys!

Great interview! It was great to hear how the path led to making their own Keto products. There are so many folks out there that are under the impression that if the package says "KETO" it really is. You are a great interviewer. No constant interruptions, no awkwardness, very relevant and detailed questions. I've never heard of this company. I live in a very small town in KY, so we're just in the last couple of months actually getting low carb bread and sweetener options.
Another great interview. I've been a huge fan of ChipMonk cookies. And I agree, the carrot cake cookie sandwich is amazing... I bought 2 batches haha!
@Ali Rojas I told David about my obsession during our customer feedback session! He hinted on the mystery box and I'm bummed I missed them. I think that was a record sell out time!

Thank you again Steve. Now why I have noted that I cannot afford these products at the moment... I had a VERY limited income until I was approved for disability . This year and probably next year, all of my "excess" income is going to repairs of house, vehicles, and preparing for food and power shortages... Mind you I started "prepping" for energy as soon as I got my lump sum for previous months... I saw the writing on the wall years ago... just could not afford to do it.

What a great interview with my favorite commercial keto bakers! I do make a lot of my goodies myself (last effort was a chocolate dipped Oreo style cookie) but I always keep some of the Chipmonk cookies on my shelf for travel and just to satisfy a craving. Great interview! Kudos to them for hanging in there through this pandemic and supply chain issues. On a side note, there is a show running on FX called "The Old Man". In the first episode he puts a quarter stick of butter in his coffee. Later he orders groceries and tells the guy, no dairy, just almond milk. Now I'm looking for the other keto Easter eggs in the series.😀

Great interview! It was interesting to hear all the trials and tribulations of starting up a business. I am a Type 1 diabetic and eating keto has been the only way I have found to control my blood sugars.
I am loving these interviews! That’s awesome to choose to eat right to reverse diabetes as your first answer! Once I started doing that, all my numbers went normal and there is no signs of pre-diabetes now. I’m definitely going to make a purchase and sign up to get small batch options. White chocolate raspberry?!?! I want that one!

I also started Keto to fight off the diabetes thing. Did three years of Vegan which didn’t work for me at all before I found Keto. Four years Keto now and never felt better. Now ordering some cookies.

I love his story! It's so amazing that we can feel better almost immediately just by changing our diet. As soon as I eliminated sugar and gluten I felt like a different person within a few days. I didn't even realize how much brain fog I had until I didn't.

I never thought I can watch an interview from start to finish, but this was very exceptional both personally and educational. I can relate to Jose very much as to having diabetes and started the shift to going on a non-carb eating life style. It was great to what he did to turn his lifestyle around and be more conscious of what he was eating. One of the most educational thing I have learnt is what is actually involve in the cost of Keto products as I always were turned off by the high price of Keto and/or non-carbohydrate products.
This interview was definitely not fluff like others I’ve seen [never made it all the way through] by others, well done and thought out questions and down to earth explanations by ChipMonk.
