Ooh, pretty. Pick the pretty green plants with leaves of three. As usual you give great content and in a form that's easy to watch. You don't waste our time by having some artsy intro but jump right in. Thank you! I recall someone doing some kind of reverse twist cordage using roots but I can't find it. Perhaps I remember wrong. Something I do remember correctly is that man's earliest boats began to evolve from a dugout to a dugout with boards forming deeper sides. These boards were held together with root cordage and pine pitch/ charcoal glue. Later Viking used withies to attach the rudder to the starboard (steer board) side of the boat.

Dan! You fell asleep in the barber’s chair - and he just kept on clipping until you woke up? 😏

Could you use it to make a bow string or would it not work?

Is it strong enough for bowdrill?

Yes especially if you tilt the bow instead of running it parallel to the ground so that the string spirals up and down the spindle instead of rubbing on itself and snapping.
