Depends. You can learn a lot from getting stomped by someone way above your rank, but you need the ability to understand it, and understand your misstakes. If you think its luck, no jungle tracking, no looking for proper gank setups, and what he thinks their wincons are... then its also just getting stomped and nothing else.
