  • Just a quick review of the new Pioneer range.
    I was impressed with the output and the sound that it put out. 0 distortion and no vibrations or rattles. Great bit of kit for the price.
    Let me know what you think of yours…

    How do you use it in the setup? 2 qsc k12.2 and a sub?
    I want to buy a sub for my pair of JBL EON 515 xt, 625w rms and spl 132 db. And a second one later to use the 2 speakers mentioned earlier and 2 pieces of JBL EON 615, 500 w rms and 127 db spl max.

      Hi, yes 2 K12.2 and then 1 sub.
      Fits nicely under my mk2 Equinox Dj booth. I set the crossover at 80hz

    How was the punch? Can you feel the vibrations in body?

      @@miroslav8817 yeah you can feel it alright. I bought a second one now. After using a lot i would say they are best at 80hz crossover

    Am tempted for the weight, so boosted mode actually tuned the driver nice (that like tighter punch dsp?)

      Yeah it does boost it up nicely. It’s a basic onboard dsp i guess. I ran it in normal mode at the weekend in a large social club. Sounded lovely. Only needed it half power. Highly recommend one.

    Any update with the sub? What speakers do you use as tops? I have the same subs but 15" thinking on upgrading

      Still working nicely, has been out a lot last year. Just enough power to fill a sports hall with low end bass.
      Used a lot in a bar near me and you can hear the bass kicking halfway down the road!

    Does this sub ‘hiss’ I have the old Xprs which is fine, just bought some xprs 10” gen2 and they have a horrible hiss, like a cassette player… I was wondering whether the sub does the same, or maybe it’s less noticeable due to the frequency of this his….

    • @sambray7832
      @sambray7832  Před rokem

      Hi, no hiss from this sub, like you say low frequency.

      @@sambray7832 thankyou for that info. I’m hoping they may be able to fix the issue with a firmware update… maybe.. I’ve never heard such noisy electronics in my 25 years doing this sort of thing, I might go for the 18” sun and just buy a pair of Rcf 10” for now
