The 'whole of the topic in … minutes' videos DO NOT comprehensively cover everything you need to know for your exams. It would be impossible to include 2 years of teaching in 1 hour. These should NOT be your only source of revision • Do the 'whole topic in... My exam predictions are just GUESSES!! I don't have any insider knowledge just years of looking at exam papers.

Today I had a panic attack on my math test.. i know the whole topic perfectly and did many worksheets to practice, and got 95-100% in all of them. I was so ready for this. But then as soon as i looked at the first question my thoughts just went all over the place, I completely forgot everything, i was shaking, it was so bad I couldn’t even answer to the simplest questions. I was sitting there in panic realizing that i have less and less time left, and still couldn’t understand anything. I used to be an A student but because of these panic attacks that im getting since September my grades went down.. (especially in maths, for some reason its not so extreme with other subjects).
The same thing happened to me today. I too today had a math test which is going count as 80 percent of the grade. It was so so so easy. I am seeing the question right now. I am good at maths. I know I am but, in the exam halls I was devastated. I still am. But its a total coincidence how similar our situations are. I feel comforted. Thanks
This just literally happened to me today. I was taking a math final. I felt super confident going into the test and then had one of the most miserable experiences for the next two hours.
Same happened to me today, knew the material but panic attack lol
Math too
Literally same thing happened, got 100% in practice test, nervous breakdown during the real test, got a migraine and passed out.
Anyone else had one of these in the latest test🖐️😭😞
king muizz in chemistry I knew the answers but I panicked, overall it went well tho
To GCSE students,
I had panic attacks in almost all my GCSE exams last year. And, it was horrible, but at the end I did mostly get the results I wanted (actually, I did better than everyone expected). So panic attacks do not mean it’s all over, don’t let yourself get into that mindset because it will just stress you out more. I dealt with them by stopping writing, and just giving myself 10 minutes to calm down. I may have lost time, but personally felt it worked better for me to just wait for it to pass then continue rather than trying to force myself through it and writing low quality answers for the rest of the exam. Quality over quantity, I guess. Everyone is different though, so consider what is best for you based on how you usually work.
If panic attacks begin to interfere with your everyday life, be sure to visit your local GP - they can provide you with the support you need, and they won’t judge, you will definitely not be the first person with this issue. Your school should also have some type of support system in place, so try to find out who is in charge of wellbeing.
Good luck!
- a year 12 with generalised anxiety disorder and autism :)
You're amazing seriously . Thank you for your time. and good luck with your As exams.
Duhaa_ adam thanks, good luck to you too! :)
I guess i have generalised anxiety then cos this was literaĺly me. I had a panic attack in almost all the gcse exams and although they are over now i still get anxious on a daily basis :(
malia Devereux I’m not a doctor so can’t diagnose you, but if I you relate to what I said, I would say there’s definitely a possibility. Everyone gets stressed and some people with no diagnosable problem may feel they have had panic attacks, but if it is a reoccurring issue as you are describing, I would once again recommend visiting your local GP.
Anxiety can get worse if ignored!
Your GP may recommend anything from counselling to medication, they’ll know what is best for you.
Waiting lists are long, so visit as soon as you can. It is a good idea to look up information about anxiety prior to your appointment, so you can take note of any symptoms you experience and give your doctor a more specific description about you.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask :)
Thank youu xx I did go to my GP twice but they weren't really that helpful and said they couldn't do much because i'm only 16. They just gave me beta blockers and they didn't really help :(
I’m failing physics so imma go and cry
Tbh the worst part about the exam is studying. Most of the time I have a panic attack while studying and not during the exam.
* Watches this at 2AM *
iZiniho same
iZiniho past 11 for me lol
I suffer from panic attacks and I'm really dreading my exam tomorrow, but this video helped to calm me :) Thank you so much for addressing this
Thank you ❤️ I've never sat an exam without a panic attack this has helped me so much xx
Today I went through a panic attack during my history exams.. I studied so hard, wrote notes and everything.. I thought I was ready but I suddenly forgot everything I've learned as soon as I opened the exam paper.. There were 2 sections(A and B) I skipped sec A which were all structure questions and decided to do B first and without realizing I spent too much time on it and began to panic, I was shaking and close to crying my hand can't hold the pen right and my writings were all over the place. It was one big mess, I have a few minutes left to answer the sec A and theres A LOT of questions and I didn't make it..I have 3 questions left answered, all blank. pretty sure I was the only one who left some questions blank,I feel like a total failure now..
even my english is going downhill, sorry for the grammar mistakes.
i really appreciate you 💗
IBS and Panic attacks are the worst thing ever, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Luckily, most people are becoming more aware of this and are really helpful 😊
I haven't been diagniasod for either. But i experience the symptoms. IBS-D mostly and anxiety attacks. They've been becoming more frequent. I have my matura exams in may. In my country they make you believe that exam ia the alfa and omega of your life. And that exam ends high school and determines what uni you can get into. It was the day before the start of senior year. I had 3 panic/ibs attacks in a row. Eventhough the first day we don't have classes. I had a slight anxiety spike in PE today, while my friend was having a panic attack so when i saw that a teacher and a classmate were already helping i ran onwards to the bathroom. It feels bad that i couldn't help. I'm seriously thinking of going to my doc and asking about meds. I can't do that exam week that's literally 2 months away.
This was really helpful! Thank you :)
Thank you this was very helpful xx
this happened to me more than twice, and this gets me so mad bc i feel like i am starting to disappoint my parents a lot lately, especially since i always got straight A’s.. thank you so much for helping me overcome my panic attacks
i had one today in an exam...
but also if I have an panic attack in normal class I have to leave the room,I can't calm down otherwise. The worst is when it happens in an full train, standing in a crowd, you can't leave...
Soon I have an spanish oral exam.
I mean I'm also really bad in spanish, but plus the panic it gets even worse
This is actually a god send for my first exam today 💓 thankyou so much!! X
Thank you so much for your videos on organic chemistry they have really been helping me as a nice break that’s still helpful from hardcore revision xxxx ♥️
Thank you for this!
This really helps, thank you ♥️
I'm keeping all my fingers crossed for you, good luck Evie MP!!
I have an English assessment tomorrow and I'm so nervous that I can't sleep and I'm having a panic attack and this helped thank you

I appreciate this thank you❤️x
I'm keeping all my fingers crossed for you, good luck saskia!!
Thank you so much!
Thank you very much this is so helpful
I just want to get my feelings out, after I left an exam (a really important one) because of a panic attack. I felt so much anxiety today because I didnt know anyone there. After we started the test my mind went blank. I could do the first task, and it was really easy, the next one as well. But it didnt help all i could concentrate was that I feel dizzy, like I cant turn my head because of the dizzines. I was worrying it is gonna be worse, so I asked to go to the bathroom and let the teacher know that I'm not well. I was in the bathroom and it got even worse, i sat on the floor for 5 minutes trying to calm down. After i got up all I saw were stars and I really felt my blood pressure drop. I felt the dizziness for minutes. I was contemplating on If i can continue or not. All I could think was that If I go back the people will look at me with pity. That I would not be able to concentrate when I go back and I would spiral into panic again, while I was panicing at the moment. I knew that I wouldnt be able to continue, I felt so bad phisically, mentally everything. So I left. That means almost that I failed that exam. I can correct it sometime, but it will most likely not count in the university. At the moment it feels like I'm the only one in the world who failed because of a panic attack. I never had this problem with exams, I was confident that I could do the tasks or if I didnt know something i accepted it. This is the first time this happened, so I feel weak and like a failure....
And it wasn't because I didn't know the topic. This was an english exam and i was confident (I still am) in how much I know.
Did it happen again? Because it happened to me 2 times during exams this last week. I got 5 exams in the next month and cant afford this shit to be happening
Heyyy the same thing happened to me during my maths test couldnt do it cuz of a panic attack and left it all i felt dizzy too and couldnt breathe and staryed shaking , i feel u dw . I have another maths exam the day after tomorrow and im already worried sick thinking it might happen again
this is the video i needed
I was a anxiety patient..and I knew that I will have panic attacks during my board exams ..so I started working on solutions such as deep breathing ,chilling with friends and explaining my anxiety and fears literally to everyone...and on exam day i was pretty confident..exams gone well..and now I,m preparing my entrance exam...in simple words don,t watch these type of videos talk with your loved ones and work on solutions.
Please please please do a video on how to start year 10 well bc Ik a lot of people who will benefit from that video since I picked my GCSE’s in year 8/9 and I haven’t focused at all... just a little idea for you ty❤️
Unknown I agree! A video on how o start revising and making a revision guide etc would be a great video to make overral
do not revise really hard from the start of year 10 because otherwise you will be so tired and fed up by the exams in year 11. Yes some revision is good but do not over do it, maybe just learn physics equations and things that will actually help.
Rebecca Abbey how many hours a week do u think is the right amount?
Unknown well in year 10 i would say just make your notes ready for year eleven because year eleven from jan onwards is learning it all so like an hour a night of notes and then one or two on the weekend every so often, around mocks like four over the weekend. Year eleven maybe two hours a night and five on the weekend. But it depends on your self.
Rebecca Abbey tysm I rly appreciate it❤️❤️
I'm about to go take three finals today and I'm already panicking about them and I hope that some of these tips help me calm down
I had a panic attack last year in maths as the teacher was standing over me and I felt really anxious I froze. I could barely pick up the calculator I was shaking after too. Ughhhh
This year though I just kept saying to myself breathe and I had bracelets on to mess with as I can't sit still because I get anxious. I'm in year 10 so hopefully I'll be on in actual GCSEs
I'm sat at the back for my exams, it's helped a little bit but today in my Eng Lit Paper 1 ended up in a full blown panic attack where I ended up leaving in order to calm down.
Please can you make a physics science vidoe because we got a physics exam on wednesday
I'm a 7th grader, I study very hard for an exam but my mind suddenly goes blank and I start having a panic attack and chest pain. If I get a not really good grade on my exam, It will be sooooo unfair because I study veryyyyyyyyyyyy hard but my mind goes blank and I can't remember what I studied.. :(
thank you but is it good to do a lot of work in year 9
so there is no panic attacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!do you agree
I have such bad panic before exams that I have such bad grades that I have to re-do my year 9 in school (I live in Germany)
Can you do a revsion vidoe of edexel physics please just before the exam this Wednesday please

Even with online exam I still get it :(
Literally me, thank god I get rest brakes and small space🐓😅
I had a panic attack In my exam today and I honestly feel like shit now
My problem is that I need more time, i want to think it all through, but then 20 minutes has passed.
you’re better than my therapist
Me and my friend find it so hard to not stress the night before/ on the day and this will hopefully help thank you !!!
I should have watched this the night before rs and chemistry!
I always sit at the back of the hall and whenever I start to feel anxious I walk out. I know I shouldn't do this but it is just so overwhelming, I focus more on trying to figure out an exit and what I am going to say to get quickly rather than actually focusing on the exam. If anyone has any useful tips and tricks please comment below, it would mean the world to be.
I think you should take a moment for deep breath then try to think about an accomplishment you made even if its something non academic and try to think of something you thought you'd never do and you did . Try not think negatively before the exam or if you have friends who you know for e.g come unprepared to the exam AVOID THEM tell the them you want to be by yourself. Basically in a nutshell think positive and distract yourself if you get anxious and stay away from bad friends,
thank you so much! I will try and avoid negative people. I might just think of a funny moment like when I fell out of a tree and hopefully that will make me focus on that rather than the exam, but thank you so much!
I feel literally the same, but i cannot bring myself to walk out. Chemistry was the worst for me, all i suggest is to stay with a few friends who know how you are feeling, good luck in your exams, you will do amazing !
it's okay hope you do well . and a very good memory to choose :)
thank you! Good luck in your exams!
3:08 I slept at 3am today
In my English literature paper 1 i was so happy when i saw the question. 20 mins into the flipping exam i started panicking and feeling sick the room felt like it was boiling hot when everyone else was cold.. i dont feel like i done enough with 7 pages of work.:/
Zeliha Nehir 7 pages ok. I barely wrote anything in my gcse English exam and i did good
M Hussain fr???
M Hussain what grade did you get?
Zeliha Nehir i did good. Dw about my grade. The actual exam is much easier. I wrote less but i made sure the quality was good. I find it so stupid when people say they need to write a lot to get good grades.
If you have a legitimate anxiety disorder that’s has been diagnosed then it may be worth talking to your school to see if you can get alternate arrangements. I know people who get to do their exams in a small room by themselves with an opportunity for a panic break.
Cats Oml I tried this n my school wouldn’t let me :(
I cannot sit at the back the dam exam lady doesn't let me
She's hates me
I am most scared about english lit
Alican 3 same buddy I always get to anxious to form a sentence

“Staying up till 2 in the morning is not good” *me staring at this video at 3am
I failed my exam 😭😭😭
Counting down from 60 is also good scientifically or chewing gum. Do some research it's legit!
You need to get a better mic.
I find it extremely useful how some people have panic attacks during exams so they don't answer as many questions or answer them incorrectly because it lowers the grade boundaries, which means that I get a better grade.
However, what do you do if you get out of the zone in an exam? Quite often, I get distracted by something or a hard question comes up and my mind comes out of the exam zone and I can't get back into it. In Chemistry paper 1, I had to give up answering some questions because I'd left the mental exam zone so pretty much forgot how to think and I couldn't get back into the zone. Quite often, I leave the zone simply due to exhaustion from being in an exam for so long.
