However I was having problems with the Nvidia graphics hardware not found and driver not compatible to the windows version even though the windows was up to date. I spent like 2 hours searching about how to fix the issue and was about to give up and call asus, but fortunately I came across your video.. I am having an issue that whenever I start up a game I get a black screen saying no signal and all my fans on the computer ramp up to 100 percent. It just started doing this a few days ago and before that it worked great. Any advice? Or would following these steps help?

Hello, I noticed that when trying to download drivers, my operating system, windows 10 pro is not listed as an option. Would I just default to windows 10 in this case? All my other info matches. Also, do I need to have the graphics card physically installed prior to installing the drivers?

To update NVIDIA drivers, have never had to check the box for Clean Install (have always used the same NVIDIA GPU from the start) and always choose Custom over Express, Install.
the clean install is not really needed but if you are having issues installing then it does help

Hello, does it work with poor visualisation of particle system-driven smoke in UE5? I have an Nvidia RTX 2080 Super, optimised for UE5 and everything works fine, but as soon as I start working with smoke the quality gets very poor. I have the same problem in Houdini so it's probably a GPU issue. I stress-tested it and everything is fine, but smoke is always in low res.

This initially fixed my problem but then if I rebooted my laptop, the problem would happen again and it would say "No NVIDIA GPU detected" all over again. I have an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16, and I read on a forum that ASUS' software has in the past caused issues with drivers, so I then deleted MyASUS and ASUS' Armoury Crate (and other ASUS bloatware) and then clean reinstalled drivers again - and that seems to have fixed it!! For now. Knock on wood, here's hoping. Still, thanks a lot! You saved me and my laptop.

hi mike can you help me with a problem. few days ago i installed windows 11 and changed my bios settings from secure boot csm to uefi. after doing this change when i try to boot in safe mode the resolution of windows do not lower down. is it same with every msi motherboard?. or this problem is with my motherboard only. hounstly my pc is giving me trouble and i think it is mobo. but not sure. i'm looking for a thing so i can blame a component

Hi I followed the video and I was able to install the gpu driver with this, without the black screen showing. However it still says error code 43 I know it is a driver related error but since I've installed the driver already, does this mean that the issue is the GPU card itself/ hardware issue. Does code 43 refer to hardware error as well? If that is the case then I might have purchased a faulty GPU right?

What if it is a 4090 only I have used for gaming and worked perfectly fine until my 12900k died and then I updated to 13900k and accidentally uninstalled its drivers?

my nvidia shows a yellow triangle warning sign and it says error 43 can you please help i just got my pc yesterday it’s a pre built gaming pc i don’t know if my pc comes with one already or if i need to set it up i got a disc that says motherboard driver but my pc does not have anything where i can put a disc
if it is a pre built it should be configured to work out of the box, try updating windows via windows update, then install the nvidia or amd drivers again depending which card it is
Just sharing my experience in case it helps anyone else: I was experiencing the symptoms here, this fix did not help. The GPU would sometimes (but not reliably) show up in device manager, and then GPU-Z would detect it but with 0gb of VRAM. Some forum posts I read about similar said "oh it's a dead card, return it". Turns out it was just the PCI extension cable I had (also referred to as "GPU Riser cables" to allow vertical mounting of the GPU). Removed that and mounted it normally in the same PCI slot and everything works fine. So if you're here and have one, that's the first thing I'd recommend, remove that and see if it works.
yeah some pci riser cables are trash tier and cause these kinds of problems

Hello, I did everything as you said, but when I opened the NVIDIA Graphics Driver installer, after checking system compatibility, it said “NVIDIA Installer cannot continue. This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows”. I don’t understand because my NVIDIA was working perfectly in Windows 10, but now that I updated to Windows 11 is a mess. The last successful driver I was able to install was the 425.31. And honestly right now I'm lost as ideally I just wanted to update to the 430.86 driver just to have a game work with a supported driver.
get the driver from the laptop manufacturers site not the nvidia site, there is a different setup for mobile chips

I noticed that when I plug in my rtx 3060, the device manager only picks up the onboard graffics, but when I plug in my gtx 970 the device manager picks up my gtx 970 what can be the issue wurh the rtx 3060. The lights in the card work but are not picking up the card.

Hi Mike, fellow Bristolian here. I’ve gone through the entire process exactly but I’m still getting an exclamation mark on my graphics card in the device manager.
When I click properties on the GPU in device manager it says “windows stopped this device because it has reported a problem: (Code 43)’
Any idea how to fix this or what’s going wrong. Its a GTX 1080ti. Everything was fine until I ran God of War. That then stopped working and crashing so I updated to Windows 11 and the latest driver (I was on the previous one) yet still not resolved

IF it stopped working during a game it could be a failure, it does happen some times. I would suggest trying the card in another pc if possible and see if the driver loads.
There is a possibility the BIOS has somehow corrupted but that is pretty unlikely.
normally a fresh install of windows and updates then drivers is a quick fix is a large amount of cases.
failing that drop it to me and i'll see what i can do

Well, this didn't work for me. I just tried to download my EVGA GeForce GTX 1050ti driver (NGD v 528.02) and it keeps telling me that the version (newest version) of Windows (Win 10 Pro 22H2) is not compatible with the NVIDIA graphics driver. It also says that the graphics driver couldn't find compatible graphics hardware and of course the GPU is plugged in and running but not being detected. Any ideas?
is the system clock correct? that sometimes trips up the install, otherwise DDU in safe mode is the next step and wipe all the drivers and install AMD or Intel chipset drivers

So i was cloning my harddrive to my new ssd i bought and i left the case off while doing it managed to move a wire by mistake and the pc switched off (in the middle of cloning) and wont detect gpu not sure if my motherboard is broken or the gpu its self tried updating drivers restoring bois to default and treid the other gpu slot i have but it highlight yellow on my motherboard? anyone give me some advice

I just installed nvidia experience and im having similar issues. When I try to get rid of it, it messes up my display settings and my original graphics card driver is removed from display adapters on device manager and when i try to run games the graphics are not the same as they used to be before i installed nvidia experience.
make sure that you only remove the geforce experience and not the nvidia drivers

I've got similar problem, but it's on my Omen16 2021 (5800H + RTX 3070). Mine can't even install the standalone GeForce Experience because it didn't detect my dGPU at all (it doesn't even show up in HWInfo). Any help is appreciated here.

After the ddu. Upon restartung my laptop went on blur screen. After the restart. The onlu one that shows up in the device manager is the intel gpu. No basic display something.. would this mean my gpu is broken? Hopefully not :(

I followed what your video said but mine didn't continue to where you can pick between the graphics driver or the GeForce. The error said that it was not compatible with the windows mine is an nvidia RTX 3050 laptop gpu

I should’ve read the forums from the internet for installing windows 11 22h 2. I could before play games well at 4k now after update I can only plays games at 3k 1920 x 1080 p. How do it fix it? It did this when I upgrade to windows 11.

The monitor part is confusing. what do I uninstall? and why did you say you are using it so dont un install it, but then proceed to uninstall it. Also why are there so many monitors?? mine has 3 of the same name.
remove the ones that are greyed out, or remove them all and after a reboot windows will reinstall one unless you have more than one monitor in which case there will be an entry for each one

My friends laptop is running only integrated gpu, his 3060 is not showing, the nvidia drivers install, but then after express installation, again show to express install or install manually this continues to infinity.

I don't know if you still reply to messages. My Dell XPS doesn't recognize the GTX 1050 and when I enable it. It crashes. Ive don't it multiple times and now system doesn't start. What should I do ???

@@mikesunboxing dell XPS 15 9560. Got it on windows 11 cheap. Guy told me he hasn't been able to update his Nvidia graphics driver so I bought it. Everything was smooth. I enjoyed it then I saw the Nvidia was disabled. Immediately I enable it it crahed and brought a blue screen. It restarted and was fine but still disabled. Stupid me. I tried again and this time it didn't come back on. And it ran window diagnostic. No problem. In the end. I tried resetting the windows but it couldn't complete it. I'm currently planning to reinstall windows with a usb flashdrive when I get home. But please if it works, is there anything I can do to the graphics card

Ever since i upgraded to win 11, i have weird issues like screen blinking from time to time and my mouse cursor as well. My gpu fan goes on and off too while on idle. Hoping this will fix it. I know its just a driver thing, it was perfect in win 10.

Hi Mike. i did a clean install of win 10 64 Updated windows it's now 1511. I have a multi boot pc running older versions of windows too. The RTX 2060 Gigabytes Aesus, I went to their website and downloaded version 417.71-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql, and i tried the latest too. I even went to device manager disabled the MS basic vga and rebooted. Didn't work, i have done that in the past and it worked with a GTX 1060 I had. I tried changing the inf file by extracting nvidias driver exe with 7zip and manually update the gpu in the device manager. The thing I'm confused with, windows is saying i have the latest version of net fx but when i ran DDU it's telling me I need netfx 4.8 to run. I've been fixing and building pc's for years but i still cant get past this one.Clean install too.

Not working for me, I manage to do this a few days back, I manage to instal the nvidia and after I shut down my pc , in the next day my nvidia drivers its dissapear again and again....

i accidentally uninstalled my drivers for my graphics card and my screen won’t display. i cant go and reinstall them because my screen is black so i can’t see anything.

Hi Mike, Fresh install Win10 with Gigabyte RTX3060Ti. only the onboard gpu is detected. When I put HDMI on RTX it is not detected at all. Updated ASUS Z690 bios. Tried to install NVidia driver like you showed but it says no hardware detected. I wish PC would keep driver on harddrive but it will not. Help!
in the BIOS set the GPU to PEG and reboot with the HDMI or DP in the GPU

@@olliehardy5264 it was open box Amazon from a third-party seller so I think it was a brick. I sent it back and bought a used EVGA on Facebook marketplace for half price. It’s working great except for it’s is bottlenecked somehow. Max is at 43% but still loving it.

My screen comes up with Purple pixels all over it and then it still says error code 43 and graphics card still has caution symbol on it. PLZ HELP
might be the RAM failing or overheating maybe? or a mining bios has been installed

I just received the PC, Brand new yesterday and i have removed the ram and put back in. moved the gpu to a different slot and uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers. when I start up the screen will say “Gigabyte insta durable or whatever and then go to a black screen with purple pixels all over. great guide, unfortunately it didn't solve my problem, it comes back every time after another restart of my computer. stutters appear in every game, then I install the nvidia driver, everything works super smoothly, after the next restart of the computer the stutters come back... And so on.😢

I did everything like you told me but I still have issues. As soon as I try to install the new driver it says that it is not compatible with my current windows version.

@@mikesunboxing I wrote the questions into the discord about this problem like 2 hours ago. Eitherway it fixed itself somehow. After unplugging the laptop it depleted its battery load in under 2 minutes and had a massive crash. Afterwards I was able to insztall the driver again.

@@mikesunboxing yes, it's like my graphics card isn't recognized by my PC anymore, and my mobo works because I tried another card in it. My 3090 updates from nividia didn't work because it didn't recognize any card so it wouldn't let me download them

Bro my Nivedita control panel won’t open. And GeForce always says update available and gives me options to install even though I’ve updated it 12 times already. Will this solution fix my problem?

After a recent update, my card doesn't show up normally on device manager. It does however show up when I used show hidden devices. I've tried all steps here but can't seem to get it working again
remove from hidden devices and reboot then run windows update and look in the other updates section
@@mikesunboxing Surprisingly, driver reinstalls didn't work, but disabling and re enabling the device did the trick. However, earlier yesterday, I updated my touch pad driver and my graphics card now shows a yellow triangle on device manager (code 43). Tired of this, I just hard reset my PC, wiping windows and reinstalling it, and the same issue persists (its a laptop GPU)

@@mikesunboxing hey Mike, just wanted to give an update. After nothing worked out, I reinstalled windows 10 and finally everything is working as intended. Leaving this here if in case anyone comes across this comment later.

@@mikesunboxing they released half-arsed 512.15 drivers and it just went black in the middle of installation, never recovered. After a reboot it said “This Windows version is not supported” (I’m on win11), so this clean install basically force installed the drivers and it all works after 2 hours of messing around. Forgot to mention that it was black until I switched to Intel Graphics
