I find Shakespeare really intriguing. What a man and his works are really great study of Human psychology and Man and woman relationships also He really gave great Female characters which was quite ahead of his time. I just Love Shakespeare!

This video is mislabeled. It discusses Elizabethan Drama and Shakespeare and not Sidney and Spenser. Please, correct as necessary.

In Merchent of Venice, its Antonio, the merchant who signed an agreement with Shylock not Bassanio. Its a serious mistake.

    Sir ,good lecture.
Sir I observed that all the Ages of English literature in spite of Puritans, women were central elements of their works .they may be sonnets, long poems, plays. Masques have described females character in less or more description.
Only Puritans were able to illustrate pure and pious virtues of mankind. Similarly it was considered that the Indian literature was in that form of pure and pious spirit of the literature.

Beowulf is protagonist and Grendel is monster of the epic Beowulf. Bhim Singh Dahiya is a great personality with immense knowledge. He might have forgotten the fact. But we can't question on his authority.
