Its been ages I ve listened to a lecture of this kind. Mesmerising way of explaining. This is why the current generation teachers are no match to the older generation teachers. Old is gold.

Actually it was Beowulf who is the hero of the epic BEOWULF. Grendel is the monster whom Beowulf kills and he kills his mother too. But it was just a slip of tongue on the part of Prof. Dahiya otherwise he is a renowned scholar of English Literature.
Thanks a lot to Prof. Dahiya and the production team for this informative and enriching series on History of English Literature.

We thanks CEC for this great work, this is actual humanity, sharing the knowledge for all equally. CEC❤

It was a good lecture although you made a mistake when explaining beowulf you mentioned that grendel was a hero who slain monsters but it was beowulf who was a scandanavian hero who came for the aid of King Hrothger as the monster Grendel was devouring his men and causing chaos at the mede hall. Upon slaying grendel beowulf again slays grendel's mother and then became a king ruling for 50 years and his final battle was with a dragon where beowulf was mortally wounded and both the dragon and beowulf died in that battle.
