To the comments telling me the castle is crooked haha - look at the corner of the wall too and see how that isnât straight either, itâs mostly my camera lens. In real life it looks almost perfectly straight to me (albeit the bottom line which IS uneven and needs fixing when I add more to it - which I will be soon, alongside fixing some areas I know are a little off) itâs not 100% perfect but the camera lens I use definitely skews the entire room and makes it look more off than it actually is. Especially towards the center, it smooshes the whole room in and makes it look smaller than it is. Iâll post a picture of the castle on my Instagram soon @artofchloerose to prove itâs not as uneven as it seems in this video lol

I think the castle being the only thing on the wall is what makes it look crooked because there is nothing to put it into perspective. You may want to put the shelves back up to help with that. Maybe you can fill them with some extra Disney stuff even.
The castle is fine. The bubble and paint trick os suppose to be food dye not paint. Food dye is more potent or u can use inks

I really appreciate the subtle sustainability in this video - reusable straws, borrowing items from around the house, reusing discarded packaging, using the back of test prints to test hacks! This is setting such a good example of little ways we can be more sustainable :)
Because of that her last "hack" did not work, it is supposed to be cling wrap, not just any piece of plastic and it gives really cool effect

I feel like the bubbles would work better with dye or food colouring not paint.

Also if the paper was more absorbent, that paper look heavy duty, even a bit glossy.
Water colour paints work great for this, so do inks.....acrylics not so much because they are quite heavy.
Yes food color works really well. Do not let it drip on the floor it stains.
We used to do this in Kindergarten a lot, so it does definitely work, but we used something called fingerpaint, idk if other countries have that, but it's something between gouache and acrylics I think. And we definitely didn't use as much water as Chloe did...
Yep food colouring or ink works much better and if you put the paper under a small cup/container and blow bubbles until they fall over the container, they pop on the paper and you get a much better print

I think there should be a criteria to even call art some things or not, but whatever, I think art and all things worth it should be something you work on and spend time on, not just something you randomly do and call art, art is like all other subjects and jobs and talents something you work on, it doesn't just happen (that's just my opinion on art, each one may have their own, we are talking about art not my opinion so if you comment say about art not me)
The last one, I do that put I put them on large freezer bags and let me kids "finger" paint pretty much mess free! Great for toddlers. And if you put foam stickers down you can peel them up and make cool shapes for grandparent gifts

We do these art hacks at childcare where I work, the bubble art thinner paper, smaller container & thinner paint or inks, plastic wrap is good for mixing blending colours togetherđđš

Bubble paintings are one of my favourite memories from nursery school. đ We used to use poster paint, so maybe thats the secret? đ€ Actually, the consistency of the residue left in the bowl once you'd emptied it looked about right! đ

I mean, I've seen so many vids, and yet not many people care about these small little things like not using disposable plastic products and reusing other plastic stuff! The one âhackâ with the suspended cup reminds me of a museum by me growing up called âscitechâ that has cool interactive science stuff. They had a similar thing with sharpies which was really cool because you could control how the paper was moving and pull little levers to control what markers were drawing.
I think the last hack would be rlly good with colors that go well together like pink with purple( not complementary colors).

I love art hacks for my classroom. The long summers need these for the odd days when kids call off and I have a small class.
Well abstract art is sometimes people just smearing paint around with a spatula sooooooooooo.......
exactly! you don't have to like every art style under the sun but to try and claim what is or isn't art is the kind of elitist bullshit that discourages a lot of people from getting into artwork.

I did the bubble one in preschool. We used plastic drinking cups, water, detergent and Food Colouring. I still have the cards and paper art works 25yrs on and they still look good.
I've seen an Instagram video where you paint the page with different colour watercolours so the page is like wet, then put on the cling film, and when it dried you peel it off and it creates a really cool texture. maybe that'll work better than the acrylics.

We used to do the bubble pattern thing at primary school, I seem to recall us using ink as it was more pigmented. There was also one we'd do with marbles dipped in paint, then rolled around on paper in a open top box.
I appreciate so much that you openly use things most people throw away to conserve and recycle
I have a pretty bad habit of hoarding my used boxes and plastics to turn into different things and use for art and it's so nice to see it on CZcams â€

With the buble hack, you should use a smaller container and the Bubble should come like near the edge of the container so that it pops onto the page which causes the effect as my mum teaches and often at the beginning of the year they make a big book where they put all their stuff in it and the cover is bubble so you blow and then you put on the page I always have fun testing it so it does work you just need the right size container hope that helps
For the bubbles, what we do is how you did the pink (mostly soap and paint, with little water) and make your bubbles. But instead of dipping the paper, spoon it in piles of bubbles onto the paper and wait for the bubbles to pop on their own (a few minutes at most). Turns out great!

Ahh we did that bubble painting in primary school :D - We did it with small cups and blew until the bubbles were high up so the paper wasn't so close to the water.

the plastic wrap one is really fun to do with water-colours! You can put random colours with extra water and then put the plastic on top and mush it, then leave it to dry and remove it and it looks like stained glass
I honestly love your art hashâs series because it just shows us what we could try and what we should stay away from and you make the videos really enjoyable
To me, the last result totally looks like Pooh holding a honey pot in his left arm. You could draw over it with a black pen to bring out the contours and it would look really cool. Loved the video as always :D

Can u do a video were you draw and paint a school calculator back or top with different disney characters, shapes,backgrounds or anything you want.
Many, many years ago (think before AOL CDs) I went to a kids art event where they
1. took rimmed baking trays (though you could use anything open-top-box -like)
2. taped large pieces of colored paper to the bottom
3. poured on a bit of tempera paint (we got to pick 2 colors) and
4. let the kids drop screws, ball bearings and marbles, and wooden dowels on it
5. then tilt the pan to roll them around.
I did all marbles, turned out pretty cool. But the tempera paint is very flowy, and they're less likely to stick.

The bubble hack works it just takes some finessing. When I did it I had to make the bubbles then pour liquid paint on top of it!
I actually tried the bubble thing a few years back and it worked amazing
I'm glad kids from everywhere had the same experience of making potions out of sticks and pinecones. I never really thought the "am I the only one" thing about that, I just never really thought about it until she said she did that
The bubble paper thing is Soo fun! You just need to use either a very dark color or a very pigmented paint.
I used black in my journal and it worked perfectly đŹ try it again!!

Being a retired preschool teacher & GMa most of the hacks you did would be good for the younger kids. I have did the magnet art. You definitely did need a stronger magnet. Also have done the bubble art & it also worked. I used tempura paint not sure if that makes a difference. Wish my granddkiddos were little again. Would love to try the pendulum art! Thanks for sharing!!
