Do you have new year's with Dick Clark ? Please ?🙏
I'm guessing WJRT-TV Channel 12 in Flint, MI had "Hello News" by Gari Media Group as its newscast theme music back in the late '80s.

I love this! WTAE in Pittsburgh did the 1987 version of the "Something's Happening" campaign as a station ID.
4:29-11:54 These Versions Are The Best
Something's Happening On KOAT
Albuquerque New Mexico In 1987,88 & 89.
Something's Happening On Channel 9
Denver Colorado In '87 '88 & '89.
I find it sad that so many something’s happening Idents from the 1st variation get overshadowed, I’d argue that they are the best out of them all.
Cool!
I used to know that guy at 4:17 that got the pie in the face, he was asked if he wanted to get a spot on T.V. and he was told that's what he would get! So he said sure! I'm a sport!

You left out KAIT in the decscription.
You didn't put this in the description:
KAIT Ch. 8 in Jonesboro, AR
(For 1987-88)
Thanks for the catch! I'm planning on revamping all of the compilation descriptions, so it be fixed hopefully sometime soon.

No more WAKC TV Is gone Now
YES!
Akron is in the Cleveland TV market, so now they only have WEWS to watch ABC on. San Jose was a similar situation, where KNTV gave in to KGO and took over NBC from KRON.
