You hear one, you KNOW they're dead already but you check anyway, and they're super dead
Some of them were just downright depressing, like the lady trapped in a storage room in that one mall...
+TheDecepticondude Depressing? Isn't that just the entire game series? It's literally a post-apocalypse inundated with the upbeat jingoistic propaganda of yesteryear. The Pulowski Preservation Shelters are terrible and hilarious. You can find a body in almost all of them... meaning someone jumped in one of those hoping the whole nuclear bomb thing would just "blow over" and then they died in there either from radiation or starvation.
Some of them can make you laugh at the absurdity of it, some can make you go "How the fu-", some of them can make you think of the horrors of the past nuclear war, some can give you feels, and some you completely ignore because the room is filled with adhesives.
The soldier hugging a Mininuke in one of those shelters is a memorable one tho :P

I remember when I first came across that radio signal, I spent like 20 mins trying to find the source so as you can imagine I was heartbroken when they were already dead
The best thing about Fallout 4 is finding hidden locations by accident - especially when there's a nice legendary weapon or lots of ammo.
It's so awesome that we can still find locations even after finishing the game. Bethesda is doing some stupid things at the moment, but we can all agree that the scale of this game and it's immersion is truly impressive!

The Mirelurk Queen and Super Mutant battle is an event that is in every game. The event triggers after the player walks near the end of the river. I've seen the battle on two characters, and so has my father and cousin.

I think the most depressing radio signal is the one from the woman trapped inside Fallon's department store. Her broadcast dates back to when the bombs first fell and she's stuck inside the jewellery vault. She's crying and begging for someone to let her out and when you find her she's (unsurprisingly) dead.
Still yet to encounter a survivor from these broadcasts, which is a shame I think. You'd think at least 1 of them would have become ghouls.
Sorry, appreciate the effort, but the night time biz, couldn't see a thing, and might have been good to identify the map location by name.
a good trick when you see scads of hostiles in battle with each other, is tag each with low cal or low damage shots from a 10mm or one shot with a deliverer or pipe gun per hostile unit. As each dies to something, youll still get the XP for th kill, and whomever remains will come closer to you for the finish. Good stuff!
Thanks for the video guide. When I first picked up that Greenbriar Radio Signal, I was really interested in finding the bunker because the Greenbriar is a famous resort which actually has a huge, formerly classified Cold War bunker that was built to house members of Congress in a nuclear war. It took me forever to find the entrance, and when I did I was totally disappointed by the tiny shelter. Far Harbor has a major location that is a ruined hotel with a vault, and I wonder if that was originally planned to be associated with the Greenbriar radio signal location.
I had trouble finding the bunker, but finally found it by looking on the local map - which shows doors to new load zones :)
I remember hearing that signal and wandering off to look for the location. I spent about 30 minutes also looking for it and said: to heck with this! But it's good to see a video about what I missed.

Haha! I just tuned into that signal, wouldn't of known about the hidden bunker it's not tricky to find. It's just the hatch door is covered by brush blends in, I'm a few years late finding it.

nevermind found it in 2 seconds once i was able to find the picnic table
They're hard to visually find, but not using the radio. Tune to it near the relay tower then move from it, you'll likely loose the signal, then circle the tower at the same distance until you get it back. Then continue circling until the signal is at it's loudest (which should still be weak), then move in a straight line away from the tower until the signal gets strong. Then use the strength as a distance meter (stronger = closer).
10 minutes of Blah Blah Blah for a 5 seconds location.

"Super mutants are weak in the legs, they seem to have less armor and tank ballistic damage to the head" You know, that's something I wish the Awareness perk did. Along with its "more detailed information" in VATS, that it would actually show you the individual defense of each body part based on the armor they were wearing. In fact, take it a step further and actually have the perk say what type of armor it is they're wearing (leather, metal, raider, etc.) along with any mods the enemy's armor has too, and if you like that piece of armor they're wearing, let you tag them in VATS so that their body glows like with the Scrapper perk so it is easier to find their corpse among the carnage to loot the armor you want off them.
I'm sure there will be a similar mod to what you're asking for. I wouldn't be surprised if it was in dev. as we speak. Give it some time and something like what you've described will become a reality. Great idea btw.

Yes I understand what you mean, for me its more just the satisfaction of discovering something hard to find and the story behind it. But if you want incredible unique weapons I have a separate playlist on that =)
I found that bunker months ago myself, but it definitely took me longer to find it than I liked to actually locate it. That and several other bunkers like it, made me give up hope of ever finding people alive in places like that.

Oh, i remember this. The entrance for that bunker is so easy to miss, but when you find it look like such an obvious and totally not hidden location... it make you swear a lot when you realize you wasted an hour to find something so in sight.
There's a bunker under the road bridge to Mahkra Fishpacking but it only has a Fusion Core and a few Ferals.

this makes me wonder what kind of secret rooms will be in the nuka-world DLC because all of it is cherry and fun looking in the trailer except the one scene where it's a rad storm and not cherry at all so maybe that is the owner of nuka-word's house or maybe it's a haunted house attraction

I remember finding this bunker duirng my first playthrough, however I'll admit it did take me awhile to actual find it.
if u extend all the tower you get a frequency that gives u a armor set a gun and x 01 mk 6
Max-modded Exploding Shotgun to the legs makes quick work of Super Mutants, but you gotta be within a few meters of them.
This and other bunkers are marked on the local map. So use the radio signal to get close, then the local map for where to look.
Useful video, thanks. Note that at 7:50 maybe we could see it if you didn't have the screen so dark? Whereas the game has adjustable brightness and gamma, that doesn't work so well if I adjust my monitor after you've recorded it.
This seems like it would be a good place for that mod that lets you put a base anywhere you want.

Hey ESO, could you make a video about Lynn Woods? I know there is a siren you can activate at the top of the stone tower (which was in the background of the video right as you notice the mirelark queen), and enemies will then come and try to attack you. I had 2 deathclaws, one glowing, one legendary, plus a large group of raiders attack all at once, right after I activated the siren.
you have just shown a new mechanic to me I didnt figure out in 300 hours of palying 0.o I always just tuned in on the radio once thought to myself WTF I cant understand that ! and then got back to diamondcity radio 0.o

In one of my games, I had freed Lorenzo and when I came to this area he was fighting that Mirelirk Queen and lost lol
yh just saying, its just annoying how many bullets u have to use to take some enemies out with! i like high difficulty as much as any, but i wish difficulty lvls would have been implemented in some other way, like early game, u run into a super mutant and it takes about 200 shots from your pipe rifle! yh yh piperifle... but its early levels! and its just stupid the amount of lead hes absorbing,it must double his body mass! bye bye ammo :p
Yeah exactly my thoughts for Skyrim when i am sneaking i would like to instant kill some enemies so it looks clean and cool. But no they take 8 arrows to take down. Not even on hard difficulty either.

Survival mode takes away bullet sponges, both ways.
Thats what happens when bethesda tries to make a shooter, for instance some so called legendary bloatflies or any other npcs might take a missile or a whole lead stew up in their face and still fly around.
Even some random raider shootout, they take ridiculous amount ammo and you're forced to reload like 3 or 4 times to get a kill, what a poor, pathetic and disgusting way to adjust difficulty level

restarted, and i dont know how i missed it, but i actually found an entire sewer dungeon underneath Concord, kind of mindblown how i could have missed that before.

why would the signal get stronger the closer you get to the bunker if you have to raise that antenna anyways. That would imply that the signal comes from the antenna...

The games littered with secret bunkers I’ve found once and never again. There’s one by the Co-Op I could never find again and another by the Coast Guard Pier. One time finds I’ve yet to rediscover no matter how many hours I play.
Did I see the hatch into the bunker? On a pitch-black walk-through in the dark? Sure, we all saw what you mean by "Easy to MISS". Next time you shoot a video like this, would you PLEASE do so in daylight, or with at least your PIP-boy light on? Thank you!

why do you want synth armor? its the worst armor in the game right before raider armor. if you really need great armor, go to hub city auto wreckers and massicar the gunners there (and maybe the forged) and their leader will be wearing a nearly complete set of heavy combat armor, missing out of the arms
the rudest of clouds Heavy raider armour is the worst of the heavy armour sets, heavy leather armor is stronger than it. think before you speak dumbass
