    I bought the osram laser next generation for h7 and h1 on myford fiesta mk7, with lenticular low beam... There are no differemce between the color of the hig/low beam and the drl light, but they aren't as white as in the video, just a little more "yellow"

    Great comparison videos mate, new bulb from power bulbs just come out called Phillips white vision ultra with up to 4200k I’m currently using nightbreaker laser which are fantastic but are still on the yellow side, my old white visions weren’t much whiter so I put them in the full beams so now I’m hoping the lastest version will be whiter than the previous ones that claim 3700k because I’m happy with my lasers but want Kelvin at about 4000k to get that pure white look.

      @soundknight Před 2 lety

      @@m3rovingian I agree with this guy though I would have said it kinder.
      I think it's better if you start your vehicle in the exact same position each video that way we can compare without movement and looking at the distance /side view / face on reflective objects and the usual other parameters.
      Also in this video I find it strange that in the starting position the next generation night breaker doesn't light up the road or the objects in the distance the same as the other videos on screen and I am left thinking... are you setting your camera locked in full manual exposure to even the results?
      There's no reference in your videos to such things...
      What sort of camera?
      Lens, f stop, ISO, shutter, frame rate? These all affect the video accuracy.
      Would love to know, thanks.

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  Před 2 lety +1

      @@soundknight Look...all the people who had something to say about the camera settings back when I used them on auto simply had northing else better to say and just want to pick disputes with me. You simply cannot replicate the exact same way a light appears on camera. It'll be different from one to another. But even with the auto settings I used to have you could clearly see a difference in Kelvin.
      Now I use the manual adjusted ISO and color temp on the camera to bring a as much accurate as possible recording. But since it is a car lights channel, the most important recording is the scientific one of the light meter tests. Also it would be nice if people would take my opinion into consideration as well and not judge me just by the way the camera records them on the road tests.
      In my new tested lights you have all the time in the world to figure out which is better. I did all the tests on the same road, but you cannot drive at the exact same speed over such a long distance, if you also take into consideration the traffic that has grown over the years. It's just not possible. But again I am not trying to please these type of people. It seems that over 7 minutes of driving is now good enough. Now in the latest videos I also included the high beams and high speed tests with also all the weather conditions over the year. I guess this isn't enough either. So as I said, I stopped taking these people seriously a long time ago. If you like how I test the car lights you are welcomed. If not, you can go look elsewhere.

    • @m3rovingian
      @m3rovingian  Před 4 lety +1

      For that H15 fitting its ok. they will look pretty much identical and since they will be on high beams you cannot go wrong. If you could find WhiteVision for allt he fittings it would be the best thing.

    @m3rovingian Hi, I watch your channel for halogen review. It's very informative.
    I have a question for you.
    I want to replace my OEM bulb, H4 socket.
    Which one is better, between White Vision 4300k (old package) and Blue Vision Ultra 4000k (blue tint with blue cap)?

      Get WhiteVision. The BlueVision ultra last only 6 months. I remember like it was yesterday when one of them burned out. It was many years ago. They look cool but the lifespan is short.
