This is one of my very favorite foundations, I’ve been using it intermittently for years. I usually layer just a tiny bit of it over my Narrs Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, and that does the trick without looking too heavy. I have been wearing the double wear for 20+ years and love it. I have experimented with other foundations since I started watching your channel and double wear is still my favorite for my skin type. I love that they finally came out with a pump for it. I use a silicone beauty blender instead of my hand to put my product on. It's great for mixing shades on and only waste is on my brush. I wipe any excess from the blender directly on my decolettage area as I tend to wear v-neck tops. Thanks for another great video!

Lisa, I love this makeup! I am in my late fifties and have dry skin and it works beautifully on me! It looks as good at the end of the day as it does right after applying it. It is my holy grail, which is truly saying a lot as I have lots of high end foundations, La Prairie, Chanel, Laura Mercier, Skin Atelier, Armani, Marc Jacobs, etc

I wear this and have for a long time. I wear Fresca in winter and Pebble in summer. They do have pumps. I use their concealer also.

All the foundations you wear look really good! They stay on very long too. You’re blessed with great skin! I’ve always wanted to try the double wear. Hear good things from many reviews. I’ll have to treat myself for Christmas. 😉

They do make a pump you can purchase. I am 51 and have had a difficult time finding a foundation formula that I like, looks good on my skin (texture/pores) and will last during humidity. After seeing videos on this product, I went to a local Macy's and got color matched and have been using a tester. I really like this foundation a lot. It's a little on the heavier side for me, so I sheer it out pretty good with a beauty blender. The thing that was amazing to me was being color matched. I have been wearing the wrong color foundation in other brands. I always thought my skin was more on the warm side, but it's actually cool with beige undertones. Having the right shade makes a huge difference. Looks great on you!

Yes estee now has the pump its navy blue. This is my holy grail foundation for over 4 years. I always get compliments on the look of my skin💕💕

It is amazing foundation. I tried in humidity in an South asian country. It is not the best in humidity. But definitely full day of wearing and stays even after a workout in normal to colder country.

Can you please do a 1 Brand Tutorial using just Estée Lauder products? They have such beautiful makeup that doesn’t seem to get much attention on CZcams other than their foundation. Their eyeshadow quads are gorgeous! Would love to see some looks featuring their makeup.
Lisa you are so beautiful you only need a tiny makeup. Your skin is clear. I've worn this foundation and like it pretty well. What I have never liked is getting my fingers in the application. Like you said it needs a pump on it. Maybe a new bottle design. I love your peach eye makeup from the Tarte pallette. You are real in your reviews and I trust your opinion! Thanks for this video.

I LOVE Estee Lauder Double Wear Light :) It provides good coverage but not as heavy as the regular double wear.

What's the best primer to use with this foundation? I've been wearing ir for a while, and I love it. However, I wear sunscreen underneath, and It makes it last less. Thank you!

Your skin looks great with this foundation. How do you think it would wear on combo skin that's mostly dry?

I initially thought it wouldn't be great for very dry skin but a few people have commented that they have dry skin and love it.. if you have combo to dry I think it could be a great one to try if you want full coverage long wear... If you don't want full coverage.. I wouldn't recommend it. You could always apply a hydrating primer in the areas that are more dry that would help

By the way. Im glad you did the foundation review the same way you always do your foundation everyday. I think it gives the foundation a true test! I hate when people say I’m not using a primer or I’m not setting it like I usually do. To me that’s just setting it up to fail! Not that my opinion matters but I figured I’d give it anyway! Great video! ☺️

I use to do my reviews that way but you're right... it is not a fair test of the foundation because we all will use powder and/or primers so why wouldn't people want to see it tested in a real life application. This is my holy grail foundation! I am normal to dry and don’t need to powder ever and it last all day through anything. I use a foundation brush to apply it and use a water bottle sprayer to dampen the brush so it makes it a medium coverage. That is my favorite technique using this foundation! Hope that helps somebody who wants to try it! 😀

Very good review! At the end you spoke of having some suggestions for dry skin, medium coverage foundations. That’s what I need. I REALLY want full coverage but I’ve got wrinkles (I’m an older mature woman- grandma) and I’m tired of having pour coverage and foundation settling in my wrinkles.

You should watch my review on the Face Atelier Ulta Foundation... if you go to my videos and search for the Best Foundation for Mature Skin you'll see it... they also have the Ultra SKIN version which is more hydrating... not as long wearing but still a very beautiful foundation.. the Ultra (Not Ultra Skin) should work well for you.

Need foundation for dry mature skin. Like Estée Lauder brand. Difficult to find my shade. I have yellow undertones
Have you tried the new Huda beauty full coverage foundation??? If not could you please do a video on that one??? I also use to wear this Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation but stopped several years ago and lately I have been curious myself if it was the same as before??? So this was very informative and answered my questions I had about it myself... thank you for that!!! Hopefully you will start getting tons more products in PR so you can start trying lots of different things when you start CZcams full time in February... I also want to know about the Lancôme Teint Idole foundation... I also used that years ago and loved it but they stopped carrying my color... then a few weeks ago I was in Sephora and saw that they have a bunch of colors now... so I am really curious about that one also?? But really wondering about the Huda Beauty foundation next... when I run out of the Fenty Beauty foundation I am using right now... thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️😃
Hi Traci! I haven't tried the Huda Beauty Foundation yet.. I will add it to my list to look for. I love the Lancome Teint Stick Foundation.. that was a favorite of mine for a while... it started to get a little oilier on me recently as my skin has changed but I loved that one for while.

Hi! How are you applying it? Maybe try a damp beauty blender like Saucer Jess below suggests.. that will apply it more sheerly.

Hi Marie - I use a drop of facial oil mixed in with this foundation. I am 56 and have some small patches of dryness. This technique really works for me. Love this foundation.
sherilynschneider I'm 51 and I do the same thing. This is a foundation that my mom got me hooked on when I was in my early 30s and I have loved it from the first application.
Marie Stopa use a drop of argon oil in it and it will work great on dry skin!

I like it but I have super oily skin and between full coverage and oil buildup through the day it feels to uncomfortable.

Primers and setting sprays help, I've really only used wet and wild, Maybelline and elf setting sprays and primers. I remember when I was younger they tried to sell me a primer at clinique and I thought it was a gimmick, little did I know. I like loreal infallible, elf, and physicians formula makes good foundations. There are some new Revlon and maybelline I want to try. And Neutrogena has some which I can't believe I haven't tried which are rated good.
A free pump came with mine! I got mine at Macy's actually.

Could you not add white pigment to get the shade lighter instead of getting rid of it? I know this is old but…

Hi Jennifer! I do.. I am not as active as I once with it but I still use their products and still have a Consultant account. I sure can! I never really talked about it a lot on my channel for fear of coming off like I was trying to sell it but it also prevented me from talking about skincare on my channel for a while because it was all I was using .. It worked great for me in my 20-30s but not now in my early 50s...there are just so many other better foundations for me now!

Thanks Marie! I wouldn't for very dry skin.. unless you mix a little beauty oil with it.. It may make your skin look too flat and dull if your skin is very dry

It stays in place for me. This one and the Too Faced Peach Perfect are the most long wearing, bulletproof foundations I wear I think

Cristiane, I totally get where you are coming from... There was a time on youtube (about this time last year... ) I took a few months off because I was feeling guilty for spending so much money on products I was seeing reviewed and felt like I had to have... I actually posted a video earlier this year on it.. I would buy products just because there was so much hype... and I wouldn't use them after the first few weeks and it would be another product I HAD to have... I don't feel that way anymore... thankfully. But I totally know what you mean!

Yes! Oily Skin is new for me.. My skin has always been pretty normal but a few months ago it started getting oilier than normal... and just the last couple of weeks it seems drier... but when I was testing foundations when it was oily... nothing was staying matte all day.

Estée Lauder IS my HOLY GRAIL. The UNDERTONES are SO TRUE: the neutrals ARE neutral, the COOLS are COOL. I have a bottle of Tiente Idole. It’s a BEAUTIFUL formula, BUT the ‘neutral’ shade 100, Ivoire is ACTUALLY a FAIR PEACH. The CONCEALER in 90,(N) in the All Over Concealer is ACTUALLY NEUTRAL. The Double Wear in 1C1 just DISAPPEARS into my skin. The satin matte is beautiful on my 50-year old skin. NOTHING os PERFECT, but this is REALLY GOOD a d does NOT feel HEAVY.
