What's funny is, I'm rewatching every season with my mother who's getting pretty old (68 years old), and when she first saw Bobby she asked if it was Jeff Garlin from Curb and whatever his name is on Goldbergs. Not to say that she's becoming confused, it was just an honest mistake of identity, but I cracked up knowing that Junior himself later mistakes Larry and Jeff for himself and Bobby, lol.
@@ater010 Mr. Roger's was a kids television show in the U.S. for like 40 years. He would always start the show by coming into his house, changing into a house sweater, and singing "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood." Clearly a nod to Mr. Rogers here.
His facial expression was so funny. His whole future depends on this case and all he does is think about the awful drawing, giving the ,,artist" the Junior death stare.
It's an Italian thing food trays get passed around 😋 like envelopes ..the priest for example carmela ended up throwing hers in the trash because her friend already beat her too it ..
Junior was trying to warn Bobby that Janice was a black-widow through and through. He tried to warn Richie about that too...Truth is, Janice is really one of the main reasons Bobby was killed. She pestered him to ask Tony about moving up the ranks because she wanted more money. If Bobby would have kept his title and took care of Junior, he's probably not a main target for Phil during the war.
You tell that to the millions of people who analyze and scrutinize Shakespeare and all the great books of fiction? Detail is detail, and the fact is, this show put a lot of effort into details like I mentioned. Rather than be salty like yourself, I choose to appreciate good writing. You should try it sometime.
markwest1987 actually, i do (tell that to people who read shskespeare, and i appreciate great literary art), but i also know the difference between suspending my belief/disbelief, and keeping one foot firmly planted in reality. feel free to have the last word, for i am through with you, sweetie pie. 😘
You said it yourself, it's art. I have been playing piano for well over 25 years now and one thing I have learned is art is meant to be scrutinized. If I didn't scrutinize and over appreciate music all of these years to the level that I did, I wouldn't be the same player, and furthermore the same person. I appreciate all forms of art, I don't care what it is, paintings, music, cooking, and yes, even TV series. I love this series in particular. I have seen a lot of great movies and shows over the years, but this series was a masterpiece on so many levels. So much attention to detail was intentionally put into the dialogue that you don't necessarily notice. That is first class writing, something which I regard as highly as some of my favourite piano players like Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson. I do have my foot "firmly planted" in reality. I have a job which occupies my life and a girlfriend who I love coming home to everyday. When I do have free time, and I'm not practicing or creating music, I enjoy sitting down and watching shows like The Sopranos. I enjoy not just watching them, but really taking everything in and analyzing what is happening on multiple levels. If that makes me a bad person in your eyes, then so be it. If you want to be that stuck up and salty about people appreciating great art, you are very much entitled to do that.
I just noticed this. Junior says "it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood" as he gets a cardigan from his closet and puts it on. Exactly how Mr Roger's does in his intro haha. I wonder if chase put that in there as homage
"Fine, Enjoy your lasagna but don't come crying to me"... Uncle June imparting some important wisdom to Bobby. The Janice reactions were fucking funny.
Junior: Sweet sausage...in little pieces...and a layer of basil leaves right underneath the cheese? Bobby: That's right Junior: That's the radiator's lasagna
I remember in the old days of the early 2000s,i would say 2006 or 2007, they used have a six flags commercial!Hilarious as fuck because the guy they used for the commercial look like almost a identical twin too uncle jun!!!Bald with glasses!!!
Junior described the lasagna (which he didn't see) down to the most minute details and Bobby still didn't believe him.
Maybe it is a Soprano recipe Carmela learned to cook. 🙂
But for a gangster, Bob is pretty trusting.
Lmao
Junior also does think the worst of everyone tho, he's a miserable, bitter old man too.
@@thiagodeandrade7081 Carmela was a cook in her own right, the recipe was hers. Junior just knows it well because he ate at their house every Sunday.
@@Gemmarose9012 Maybe that was it. Thanks.
really should add the scene where he is watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and thinks its him and bobby on TV

@@ibrown3KC that’s so funny. Keep watching the show with her. Make some nice memories
@@reflection8578 Absolutely. Thanks for the kind words, buddy.

Naw What's even better is him watching the six flags commercial " Mr Magoo" it's awesome 😂😂😂
Both times Junior sees himself on tv he starts with “The fuck?!” He’s never satisfied with his own image on tv lmao.
To be fair, though, that was a pretty awful sketch.
What show? 😂
He’s 30 years younger in his head
Is anyone? 😂
The man is driven en toto by his insecurities.
"It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood" as he's putting on his Mr. Rogers' style sweater.
I never noticed that before.
holy Shit ! this deserves more likes !
can explain to me?

I didn’t know they had wildfires over there.
A real mobster knows of Mr. Roger's.
Even confused, Junior knows EXACTLY what his little niece is up to. Janice is always ready to pick the bones.
lol like what he said to richie about Janice and richie ignored him
“Fine enjoy your lasagna just don’t come crying to me.” Classic junior
the smirk on his face, magnificent.
Running*
It was a subtle way of saying my niece is a bad egg.
He knew, alright.
Junior always tried to warn people about Janice. He was too clever for her facade
He was not the feeble-minded brother
She left his wallet light
The court sketch is a cross between Junior Sorpano and David Chase.
Dont forget sbout mr magoo
Hell, you're right
Or the Six Flags Astro world man
Junior Chase, whatever happened there….
-
This scene is worthless without the following one where Junior mad dogs the artist in court.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Also when he sees Larry David. Lol, man I love all these Junior clips
His facial expression was so funny. His whole future depends on this case and all he does is think about the awful drawing, giving the ,,artist" the Junior death stare.
How many times has junior eaten at Tony’s house?! He knows the exact type of lasagna that Carmela makes? Lol
Gabagool runs deep in the veins
It's an Italian thing food trays get passed around 😋 like envelopes ..the priest for example carmela ended up throwing hers in the trash because her friend already beat her too it ..
Every good cook has their own style or way of preparation.
Every sunday before the failed hit on Tony
If there was a character that will honestly make me laugh is Uncle Junior. Hilarious.
He was def the best..
Oh, so you think this is funny? I am a source of amusement.
@@Uncle_Jun haha lol. Uncle Jun you are such a character. Shame they had to ruin Bocca for you. You had a chance to be happy.

Tony inherited his legendary "what da fuck" from Junior

The writing on this show was superb.
The Mr Rogers reference "It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood" LOL
As he puts a zip cardigan over his shirt and tie...yeah it isa mr rogers reference
"Fine, Enjoy your lasagna but don't come crying to me"...
Uncle June imparting some important wisdom to Bobby.
The Janice reactions were fucking funny.
That “Go see if he is allright” at the end killed me. And the way he looks down while saying it
There will never be another show like sopranos never again
so will kurdistan
Junior is the funniest character in this show lol
I really wanted to hear more about the financial irregularities at Comley trucking.
I could watch a 24hour run of Junior clips and not mind one bit 👍
ME 2, he’s just so funny as fuck
"If they were great artists, they'd be in a museum".
Junior lifts bigger weights than Chrissy
I wish we could’ve seen more of Jr’s crew: Murf, Joseph “Beppy” Sasso and Tommy. Same with the Barese crew.
I love how eager he is to see himself on tv. Just like Christopher.
Man that was an intense workout Junior had while talking to Bobby
Bobby taking care of 184 got him fired up
Junior: Sweet sausage...in little pieces...and a layer of basil leaves right underneath the cheese?
Bobby: That's right
Junior: That's the radiator's lasagna
Janice compromised
🤣🤣🤣🤣
00:50 *TF*
😂
I laughed out loud when they showed his drawing of himself
Juniors looking at time in jail due to a mob indictment and all he’s bothered about is how he looks in the drawing 😂🤣
it comes an age when you just don't give a fuck anymore.
Wiseguys can be sensitive and don't like being mocked at all
@@iskulytell me about it lmao, reminds me of the Chicago boss Joey Aiuppa, or as it was said “He would have a ham sandwich whacked.”
Everybody steers clear of her food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Then when he's in court he looks back at the artist with a evil look LOL
Uncle Junior was the most funniest character in the show.
I love that line about the lasagne makes me chuckle every time. Such a well written insecure character is Uncle June
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood
There should be a spinoff about the life of Junior, Murf and Bobby in that house.
I always loved how juniors old pal had to relay vital info amongst the mobsters
Junior is funny as hell
Absolutely the best character in the show
Junior hates Janice so much lol
Junior putting his jacket on: "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.." fUCKING CRACKED ME UP AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY 🤣🤣🤣
Haha do you know where that reference is from??
The first part where he's acting like he's mr. Rogers though," it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood"
Junior never had the makings of a looney tune character.
Such a great actor
When he stared at the court sketch artist it sent me over the falls 🤣
"A beautiful day in the neighborhood" as he puts on his sweater fuckin Mr Rogers here
Lol the painting was of david chase
Hes on trial for his life and only cares about the sketch so mobbed up
Love the Mister Rogers reference at the start
"I'm fucking fodder for cartonists now?"
I'm in awer of junior. Hehehe
Junior is there for comedic relief
No one can top Borko
"WHAT DA FUCK?!"
Fucking killed me.
My favourite scene of whole show.
David Chase was a great comedy writer. Jnr & Bobby's interplay.
A shout out to Fred Rogers and his cardigan sweater ❤️
Junior is great caracter
Uncle junior reminds me of my grandfather.
Aw I was expecting the curb your enthusiasm bit where Jr thinks it's him n bobby
And thus "Don Junior" was born
Should have added the scene in the court room where Jun mad doggin the sketch artist 😂
The sketch is so well done - it's so close to him yet so oddly different and strange
I recognize his old buddy as Travolta's dad in Saturday Night Fever
Junior was my favorite in the sopranos.
Thanks for posting. Just randomly thought of his ‘what the fuck’ reaction and needed a fix
"He's a legitimate business man!!!"
It’s weirdly sweet seeing how much of a father figure Junior is to Bobby even though he mostly treats Bobby like crap
Go see if he's alright 😂
Uncle June. Knows his lasagne.
He was really watching Mr. Magoo lol.
Junior’s neighborhood is nice.
DID WE MISS IT GODDAMIT!
I like how he pronounces "fodder" as "farder"
🎶Oh Please Won't You Be, My Gangster!🎶 😜🤣🤣😜
Dominic Chianese is 91 now protect him at all costs
Junior 30 seconds into the scene: focusing on mundane irrelevances
Junior 60 seconds into the scene: being a cross between old man Gambino and Columbo
I made that lasagna with the basil leaves it was delicious
I was on that as soon as I heard it.
Knowing what I know more about now regarding Junior, I have a feeling that the cartoonist got whacked by any one of Junior's loyalist 😂😂
Enjoy your Six Flags bus, just don’t come running to me...
Nobody thanked Muff - er - I mean Murf - for putting the heat on under the gravy.
It's a TV progrum....a movie.
‘Boy Bobby, you & that Tony Egg were really something at Janice’s Confirmation party.’
He should get the box-set.
I wish they did more with varasity athletic shineboxes in the show, they were my favorite hoo-waas. Heh heh
The CineRanter lmfao
What a comedy team 😂
Bruh the way he gives him the death stare 💀💀
You can hear Chianese’s accent slip when he says “courtroom”
Those couches … man those couches
No one commenting on how this is the same beginning as The Mr. Rogers program?
OooOOOh ! That's the boss you're talking about !
