My husband cooked for me once, when I was really sick. It was fish. It was the most horrible thing I had ever tasted, and I ate every bite with a smile, because of the effort he'd put in. I told him how much it meant to me, how sweet it was of him to cook for me, and made very sure that he couldn't find things in my new kitchen. I also did not tell him what a bad cook he was for about 12 years, but he already knew.
At least you showed appreciation. Apparently, the modern, single women in the West can't do that. It's too difficult for them.

Whenever my husband sees all of the food I made on the table he smiles, kisses me, gushes with excitement, tells me how impressed he is, pulls out my chair for me first, and fills my plate with food first. He is so so appreciative of everything I do - something as simple as a (bombbb ass) dinner. You BETTTT I am the exact same way with him! When he takes the time to cook, I give him the biggest hugs, and I am so appreciative. He cooks the best food too and it makes my stomach full and my heart warm.
These men deserve women who appreciate these efforts. It's not about fancy ass steak restaurants it's about your parter making something for you out of love to make you happy and wanting to spend quality time with you.

The one with the house and the kids 24/7/365 ?

Both Aussie Cop and the guy with his wife handled that situation like real men. If the dude with her was being genuine about not knowing about the marriage which is not certain but just going off of face value, that was a very outstanding outcome for a very crappy situation. The officer kept his cool the entire time while still being assertive and the guy, clearly in the wrong, left with about the best possible thing to say in that bad situation. Kudos to them both, hopefully they both find better for themselves.
