First Apple computer was Apple I launched in 1976. It was then updated to super popular Apple II THAT LITERALLY BUILD THAT COMPANY. So right from the start you are wrong

There was that awkward movement in the middle where the first GUI used in pc were extremely basic. It really depends on how the terms are used. Some people looking back today will call small computer systems a pc while others like my self will still have a distinction with microcomputers.
I mean that’s not a bad thing. These days, you need to be able to tell what brand a product is. Therefore it needs to look, act, and feel like that brand.
My current Mac is better than the best from 2020 and was manufactured in the end of 2015. And so far there is no better computer than mine. I think it will stay that way for another 5 years. Good good ok I also paid almost 5000 euros for him. But anyway...

My current iMac is made in like 10 or 9 years ago I forgot and i still use it to this day imma keep it for another like 5 years lol

I’ve got two iMacs that I use, one was made 16 years ago, the other 22 years ago and both work great (22 year old iMac is quite outdated of course)
