  • Fretwork on Sadowsky guitars and basses is second-to-none. Shop manager Lisa Hahn shows how it’s done in just about three minutes - try to keep up!
Lisa is fretting a neck for our new 24-fret 5-string Single Cut bass. Designed in collaboration with the one and only Chip Shearin, this bass will be making its debut this fall.

LEESSSSAAAAH!!!!! 🤗👍🏽 Lisa was such a Wonderful & Delightful Hostess on my 1st visit to Sadowsky Guitars ... Everyone , actually. The vibe was so relaxed there . The treatment was ROYAL 👑🤗👍🏽.. And Sir Sadowsky (Roger) himself even graced with his benevolent presence before I left ... It was enjoyable afternoon for me 🤗👍🏽.
I was really feeling the vibe of that thin arch top , the L-15 , if I remember correctly ... Such a nice comfy arch top, that fit the bill for either straight up straight ahead to contemporary / smooth Jazz. (But I actually got a bit ‘folky’ Jazzy on it ... It had a nice acoustic appeal to it as well ... It actually took me back a bit in time on an acoustic folky type vibe, but yet contemporary Jazzy at the same time .... I’d say the L-15 gave me a type of jazzy vibe like my GB10 (George Benson Signature model IBANEZ ) but with this nice easy to manage acoustic air to it. Plus I got to play that electric nylon string classical Sadowsky, which Lisa modestly yet cheerfully informed she’s been the one building them for years now ... If is the Best Of it’s kind I’ve ever played yet , better than my Godin by far ... (though I like my Godin still ...).

Sweetness. She even files with either hand. Nothing beats the fretwork on my Sads.

This is the difference between a good instrument and a great one. It’s all in the details.

Wakes up in morning. I get to go to work and make some of the best instruments around. When you see the craftsmanship like this the dollars make sense.
    3.24 says it all.

Amazing, quality work. At this pricepoint however I would love to see hidden fret tang ends...

Does Sadowsky use stainless steel or nickel frets?

Why waisting so much of fretwire at beginning?
