I feel like the most tragic things is that Toji technically didn't even need to kill Riko at the end. She was about to turn back herself and Tengen would've remained "pure". It's really sad...

I thought the art was really bad this episode. Its especially bad during animation. Its not sharp and not of high quality imo. Coloring also aint it. They look so fake. The blood looked fake. Im disappointed. But it was a good episode nontheless.

His age and appearance is probably a result of his superhuman abilities, as he heals FAR faster than a human and thus likely has a much longer life expectancy.

A heavenly pact/restriction means that someone is born with a big disadvantage but gets something in return. Mechamaru has a fragile body, but an enormous amount of cursed energy. Maki has a tiny amount of cursed energy, even less than a human, but she gets a really strong body in return.
Toji has absolutely zero cursed energy, which is extremely abnormal since every living thing has some. He is similar to Maki, but because he has absolutely zero cursed energy, his body is even MORE strong. He essentially has a perfect body to make up for the lack of cursed energy

The three big families in JJK are Zenin clan, Gojo clan and Kamo clan (that blind guy with blood manipulation from season 1 was from that clan) Zenin's signiture technique is 10 shadows which is Megumi's technique. Gojo clans technique is Limitless which is Satoru's one and Kamo is blood manipulation. All three of them are insanely OP in their own way but that will be shown/expanded on later on in the anime/manga.

This story reminds you that every OP character was a kid once. Gojo is one of the strongest but here, he's still learning. He can't keep his infinity shield active at all times yet. He needs to activate it and keep it going, which strains his brain and requires him to take breaks. He's also not as fast as his future self and can't use all the Gojo family techniques yet, so he was beaten 😵 This experience is what causes Gojo to grow and become stronger, evolving into the GOAT we know and love 😎🥰 Also, Riko affirming her will to live and desire to experience a full life only to unceremoniously head shot her is ice cold 🥶 But that's JJK. Death is a daily part of this jujutsu sorcerer life ☠️
Also in the jjk 0 movie we see a glimpse of why geto changed. He found those two twin girls in a cage and he looked distraught. The two girls were in his little cult in the movie. I think that caused the trigger, whilst riko’s death was the starting point.
